I think everything about this game, regardless of questionable quality at times, was mostly everyone’s guilty pleasure during the aggressively edgy mid 2000s. At least for anyone between 10 and 13 at the time.

Well it always was a good anti-hero song pumping you up for upcoming action... Despite game itself partially failing to deliver on the promise.
It is kinda defining trait of sonic games - game may be "meh" but always has at least ONE awesome song.

I miss this era of Sonic before 2006, with Crush 40 and nice stories! You are playing awesome as ever!
More like the era before Colors. Because the games after 06 still had good stories. People just never gave them a chance. Secret Rings was mediocre, Rush Adventure was more Sonic Rush so it was good, Unleashed is now considered one of the best games in the series, and Black Knight is ready under rated because most people judge it based the fact that sonic has a sword and nothing else.

Sonic's ost is still God tier, but it's not as good as it was before imo
Crush 40 is thankfully still there, only a bit less from what I’ve noticed. Atleast we got the 30th Anniversary Symphony, which was pretty damn awesome.

I un-ironically liked the shadow the hedgehog game. Seriously it was kinda fun.
The multiple stories were kinda eh for me, but yeah it was pretty fun
Controls were great but the mission system was ass.
@@sethnoneofyourconcern5093 I had the ps2 version but the framerate was like a slideshow, but recently I bought the OG xbox version and am playing it on my 360. Runs much smoother.
But yeh it is fairly easy

They better fucking put *I Am All of Me* in the next Sonic movie.
I like the "black-hearted evil, brave-hearted hero" line. Good way to connect a song to the gameplay, considering the fact that you can make choices that decide who shadow becomes at the end (even though it has a true ending, so none of it matters)

The lyrics in this song actually has a lot of clever writing to it.
Every time Shadow's theme is saying 'I Am-- I AM', in the Bible God referred to himself sometimes as I am.
In other words, Shadow was calling himself a god. Which fits some of his other tunes pretty well.
