Mauricio "Shogun" Rua once again gave Bad Boy an exclusive look into his training camp, this time preparing for his rematch against Forrest Griffin at UFC 134: Rio. Featuring his return to legendary muay thai coach Rafael Cordeiro, as well as work with his primary sparring partner Joao Paulo "Tuba" de Souza and the Kings MMA crew.

very good fighter, even better as a personality. i like shogun a lot, mostly because he's such a great role model for young people. he shows that you can be tough and be humble and a nice person at the same time.

its something that Rafael Cordeiro gives to his fighters, hes been grading his fighters since chute boxe days, however its not really a legit system that runs in muay thai but i think it a gym tradition

I love Shogun but I wish he was still training with Rafael. He's one of the best coaches in the game and he knows Shogun's style so well.

From what I see, the pad combinations from Shogun don't look as aggressive. But at the same time, they are more technical and realistic towards combat. Nice. Hope Rafael Cordeiro trained him up properly. GO SHOGUN!
