+Howard Pinsky Why are your videos less popular than Terry White's? You both released similar videos at the same time, if not your videos are earlier. They're even more informative, clear, and you get straight to the point.
WOW. That is great Howard. Just goes to show I can still learn from young talent at age 70. A little fast for me to retain at my level, but by watching several times I was able to retain a lot. I haven't used the masking tools much because I never tearned to use them properly. I am pretty much self-taught when I need to do something within my designs. RUclips tutorials have been a blessing. Thank you so much for providing these tutorials.
Love your tutorials!! Since I work with photoshop in school and the teachers never learn us the cool things we can do in it. Your videos are a great help to me when the teachers fail.
I just wanted to let you know that this was one of your best tutorials since I subscribed you when I started to experiment a bit with Photoshop in 2008. Great!
Holy crap you cover a lot of steps--I had a hard time catching it all the first time and I'm pretty advanced!! I prefer the slightly colored version. I think the softness compliments the lovely photo. I love your tuts, thanks so much!
Awesome tutorial I finally feel you're back ! The one with color is the best looking for me :) Thanks for everything you do Howard because it's really amazing.
Outstanding tut! There's a bunch of techniques that I didn't know, pulled my hair trying to do or gone the long way around. Using the layer mask as a selection, adjusting the opacity of an adjustment layer and the mask edge instead of the so- so results using the fringe options on the image. Thanks again!
ahh thanks howard, ive always been wondering how this effect is done, and came up with much more difficult ways which took waaaay longer than this. thanks a bunch!
Thank you so much! I'm doing photography in school and one of my experiments/final pieces is gonna be using double exposures. Great tutorial, can't wait to use it x
Aaaarghhh no way 7:10 The contract command. How did I not know of this before??! U legendhead, that is gonna save me so much time..! Ps I like the sepia
Thanks for this! I prefer the coloured version. I totally forgot how to do this and always thought this was so neat! I've learned all type of skills and tricks during my program of Graphic Design, but a lot of them have faded.
Wonderful tutorial, and just in time for a project I'm working on, too! Loved the more colored/vintage version, but the B&W is nice as well. Personally, I lean more toward the vintage look.
I could've figured this out on my own, but it's always nice to get a reminder. I love your tutorials, even though I would say I'm pretty proficient in Photoshop they always seem to teach me some new trick. So thanks!
Hello: I have a concern, as did 2:50 minutes to download the image and remain implanted and the edge of the tree? Thank you !! please write it in Spanish
Hello, i have a problem with one step - at 5:33 when you erase the excess part on th right. everytime i want to do that the whole image gets "erased"... i hope you know i mean, like the whole picture gets repainted with the brush, not just the part of the mask, i dunnow what i am doing wrong please help
Hi, I'm having some troubles at 3:37. I can't drag only one of them. When I try to adjust it both sliders move and it's giving me undesired results. Is there a set up I should do first? Thank you!
This is by far the best double exposure tutorial I have found. Thanks a lot ***** I know it was a lot of hard work to put these videos together and I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with the world.
I did alt and drag at 2:48 and it just copied the layer. Obviously Photoshop has updated since this video was made, but does anyone know a different way to do this?
HI, I was with you until 2:57 in when you made the girl a clipping mask and she neatly fit into the tree shape. If I don't change the blend mode to lighten my subject just sits on top of the layer 0. Help?
I like the black and white. This I my first time watching your tutorial, I must say good work. I will subscribe to your page to pick up some tips, again great work keep it up.
Howard you are a Photoshop God!!! One question though please, do you only use Mac? I use windows and would appreciate a little more window content. Thanks and keep up the wondrous work.
Wow, awesome tutorial. Disagree with the people saying that you should slow down, I like how conciese you are. If it's too fast for you, you can always pause/rewind or even use RUclips's speed control to make it play slower.
Hi Howard, thanks for the great tutorials. Very helpfull. In this video I got lost between 2.10 and 2.20. Probably it is my English but I could not clearly understand what keys to press. Thanks in advance for helping me out!
awesome tutorial, super informative, detailed yet easy to follow instructions. superb! ps. for the 2 versions of the photo, i kinda like somewhere in between the black&white version where only a bit of the color seeps through. thanks for the tutorial x]
I'm having trouble getting the gradient to work with the image. Are there any tips you could give me to help? i know this is an old video and the program is drastically different but maybe there's an alternative way to make the same effect happen?
hi there, when I try to do the ALT option it doesnt do it, but in stead, the portrait stays as it is and second exposure is in shape of portrate, any idea whats wrong? a little help would be nice since I am new to photoshop, thanks!

All that happens when I hold alt to get the clipping mask (2:55) is that I get a copy of the image (another layer).
