- In this video I install a USB adapter permanently in the R56 mini cooper S in place of the cigarette lighter. This by far isthe most useful modification I have done to my interior besides the cravenspeed fixie phone mount.

Top man. Since watching these videos I have changed HPFPump as idle wasnt very smooth. Also I have removed the intercooler muffler. I installed the AEM induction kit and am now chasing a Milltek sports cat.

Bikelife Kevin Im in the U.K England. The sports cat is legal and should pass MOT. It just allows more of a free flow.

You should add a unibit to your tool box. It's a tapered drill bit that comes in multiple sizes and steps. While it offers multiple sizes it would also make holes a lot cleaner and keep the hole centered. Plus would have taken you maybe 5-10 seconds on that hole and be perfectly milled out.
Purchasing a Cooper S later in the year-all these mod vids will come in handy.

Mine should be arriving this week. I got one for the front cigarette lighter socket, and one for the back power port. My shift knob and adapter are at home in my mailbox. Thanks for all the great mod ideas!

Hey, thanks for the tips, away to do this to my mini. All the tips like what wire to connect where and how you used the dremal tool were great, luckily I’ve got the same tool. Would be good to see what screws and bolts you took out/ where to open up the centre console etc. + what tools you used. Either way best video tutorial I’ve seen so far so appreciate the help man!

If you are interested in doing this use a step drill bit to widen the hole and put the lock nut on the back instead of threading it on so that you don't risk twisting the wires off during installation.

I went to install my Sports cat and down pipe today. Could not remove a bolt underneath which secures below the cat to the resonater pipe. I sprayed it with WD40 repeatedly. Its solid. Next move will be a garage with a high air pressured, deep socket nut remover to loosen it for me.

Yoooooo I did this to my mini about a month ago and I have no regrets but I extended the wires just Incase I have to take it apart again I have room to pull up

I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I just broke my glovebox the other day and can't find any videos how to get the latch back together. The latch pieces came out. Not broken but don't know how goes back together correctly. I got it back together but doesn't work. Glove box won't latch to stay shut.

Hi my cigarette lighter is blocked, I bought a USB Bluetooth device to use for music in my Mini Cooper 2009. I’m wondering do I need to do this with the wires or is there a way I can get the cover off? I’ve tried pulling it and it’s just bringing out the whole section! Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks man! It charges REALLY fast. Its a 2.1amp charger on both plugs instead of a 1.2 and 2.1amp that most of the dual chargers come with. Thanks for watching!

Clutch Masters fx250 with a lightweight steel flywheel is around $1100 and is amazing I've had for about 3k miles so far and is a really good clutch kit.

What are going to be your plans for the audio in the car? My girl has a 09 jcw and so it already has the USB port but terrible audio with no Bluetooth to play music. Only for phone calls. Just curious

sircarter88 yeah it actually charges pretty fast it went from 20% battery to about 60% in about 15 minutes worth of driving

My MCS roof get stuck after park at warm area for a period of time. It doesn't open all the way up. It works ok in cool weather. If you have the same prob please show away to fix it?
