The play at around 7:11 by McGlothern might be my favorite of the game. It seems he knew what play was coming as soon as he saw the formation and was just too quick to the punch for the attempted blocker. Great individual play on an island, great instincts, and signs of great preparation by the defensive staff carried out by a player who understood the gameplan.
I really don’t know how he doesn’t get more NFL scout recognition. He’s a flat out lockdown corner and seems to take film study very seriously cause he’s made plays like that his whole college career. I’d assume these ‘experts’ know scouting better than I do but just watching him play I know he would be a good starter on any defense in the league, seems like a lot of Arkansas guys don’t get scout recognition then ball out in the league: Greenlaw, Kam Curl, Jerry Jacobs etc.
@Alex-eo3nn I don't know what's going to happen at the end of the season, but I sure hope we retain this defensive staff and a few upperclassmen for next year.

After the Mississippi State game, it looked like Pittman might have lost the team. But this was a huge win for Arkansas. Lot of tough losses this year, but they're still fighting.
Yeah, He’s gotten really good at being in the right place at the right time and making open field tackles when it’s in front of him, but he just doesn’t quite have the speed to keep up with the faster receivers.
Man if we would’ve just had a more competitive offense this year we could’ve been really good. Oh well 🤷🏻♂️ maybe we finish the year out strong. Just got to look forward to next year now and see what happens.
