I was really in need of this feature too! Whenever I'm tweaking a channel, I find myself going through the tuning process at least twice. First, I take a measurement, apply the initial set of filters, then redo the measurement to double-check everything. After that, I fine-tune the adjustments based on the initial results. Plus, having that second band unallocated is a real game-changer. It makes importing EQ filters from REW a breeze, saving me from manual work when I want to use tune control too. Huge thanks to you Nick for bringing this up with the ATF team, and a big shoutout to the ATF crew for making it happen. I've been waiting for something like this for ages!
Also no you were on point with this recommendation, this rew update is a huge game-changer. I always wondered how REW could have options for rePhase and Apple but not Audiotec Fischer? With all the features that REW packed into this update, especially the cooperation with AF, it has got me back fulltime into tuning in all my off time lol. Lotta sweaty nights with the car on a battery tender
Nick, awesome video, as always. Question: is there a way to copy EQ settings back, from DSP Tool -> REW? Sometimes I make adjustments in Helix, and then I want to take all of it back to REW, to play around... but I haven't found a way to do it yet. Other than manually copying each filter back.

I appreciate your response in advance.
Now I need to update REW for the shelf filter. One thing I would be curious about - was how you set up the Default Equalizer in REW under Preferences. I know I have to modify mine for what DSP I am tuning but curious what you set up as defaults for the ATF DSPs. I assume for ATF: Manufacturer: Generic Model: Config PEQ Settings: 30 filters, 44.1 sample rate, Freq range (10-20000), Gain range (-24 to +12), RBJ Q (no clue what this is but it's default) and Q range 0.1 to 15.

Hi Nick, have a question, i seen when you imputed crossover target 100 - 270 your using speaker driver. when i used JEB Tuning companion, I export each speaker crossover target then use none in target type as the house curve i use for the driver does it for me is this ok to use or would i still need to input the speaker driver crossovers? seen you have your own house curve is this available online to download? many thanks!
Isnt the point of electrical vs acoustical that the speaker already has the car cabin and various other influences affecting output, so your electrical filter is added to these influences to result in whatever the acoustical output is? AKA setting electrical filters to exactly what you want your acoustical filters to be isnt accounting for the other influences affecring that speaker
Anyone figure out how to implement crossover filters when using the audiotec fischer eq? It doesnt give the option like it does with generic EQ. So if im taking raw speaker measurements, no xovers or eq applied, how can i simulate what electronic xover filters are best to meet the house curve with the audiotec fischer eq?
@@ResoNixSoundSolutionsI noticed your target curve is a constant slope downwards from low to high. Which I actually agree with. Having any of the freq flat sounds thin in car audio IMHO compared to home audio. What is about the db slope you use if you don’t mind me asking ?

Easy, tune with crossovers in place
why your target slope is like that ?
