@@RobertEFuller I don't see that there is documentation of the artificial Mud Bank you built. THAT would be even as interesting as the beautiful King Fisher laying all those eggs and hatching and feeding them. Did you know that the Australian Kookaburra is a King Fisher. Bland in appearance, I guess, to fit in with the brown Australian countryside.
Mr. fuller, this video was so interesting and beautiful to watch. The Kingfishers are so colourful and very strong birds. Thank you for sharing. Helene
Thank you, Mr Fuller. I loved seeing the mom kingfisher trying to cover and warm all 5 squirming chicks at once, and the chick swallowing a whole little fish!
Such beauty and purity, watching this kingfisher family. I feel so grateful that we get to witness all this where normally we wouldn't get the chance. They are one of my favorite birds. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
If making naturalistic “bird boxes” was an olympic sport Robert would be collecting gold medals in every category . Well done Robert. I did wonder how you did the king fishers. Didn’t expect you had built a whole natural looking bank though.😂 I’m well impressed.
I don’t know a single thing about film making or photography awards, but whatever the highest accolade is for outstanding wildlife footage Mr. Robert E Fuller should get it for this clip alone….. the work Robert does is incredible…… amazing Robert, I take my hat off to you and thank you for all you do, I’ve learned so much since I found you x❤x
OMG! Tiny but huge fish! Doesn't seem physically possible to swallow such a big fish for a tiny kingfisher chick body! Amazing bird hotel for these illusive and wonderously acrobatic native birds. Love it. Love it. Love it. Thank you REF.
The videography is superb. I can’t imagine the equipment is easy to set up in such a way that results in such great shots while also being non-intrusive to the wildlife being documented. An undertaking to be sure!
😆 thanks I do bits with TV I have tried to get more but it’s really not easy industry I personally don’t watch TV much at all, as there isn’t anything that I want to watch on !
I just found this amazing video and chhannel today!!! 😮 Feel honoured to be part of fhis experience!!! Thank you so so much 😊 keep doing this amazing job please ❤
👋 👋 ROBERT😊, GORGEOUS BIRD..NEVER SAW A KINGFISHER..stunning. Babies are GOD'S little miracles..so sweet.. Love ya for sharing this footage with the 🌎...beautiful..ty😊❤
Such stunning little birds ❤❤ there was a little malachite kingfisher who lived in our botanical gardens near the pond (in the Eastern Cape in South Africa) and it would sit and watch us from its tree if we had our picnic near its home.. such a gorgeous little thing ❤❤
We discovered a kingfisher at our wet weather pond. It was so very beautiful and I had never seen one in person before. Sadly we had a rather long dry spell this summer and the pond dried up so I haven't seen it in a while. We have had quite a lot of rain in the past few weeks so I hope it will come back or at least come back next year.
Do you know David Boag? he was doing this in the 1970s The film of it is featured on a Jack Hargreaves series out of town. I breed yellow hammers and black redstarts
Hi, the quality of the footage is amazing. I curios to know what equipment you're using. But it is all about the story and thar is also remarkable. Thanks for sharing it.
Very big eggs for such a small bird. Gorgeous Kingfishers. Sadly our rivers are getting more and more polluted due to sewage and water companies releasing overspill straight into our rivers and waterways. The rivers and streams were doing so well up recently.Private companies care more about profits than the environment. Here in Scotland the government own the water works.

I have seen this at least 4 times now, and I still am amazed that one of these blind naked chicklets can swallow a fish whole!!
I like the way the parent tries to feed the newly hatched chicks something that's almost as big as them.😄
@@johna6767 Kingfishers are useless at portion control.
@@eileencollins8799 Or proportions in general. I can't believe such a small bird could lay so many eggs in one clutch!
The clips that you make mr Fuller are priceless. So much to learn from them!
@@RazulLD Ich stimme ihrem Kommentar zu.🤗
The little one doing his damnedest to swallow a fish that's about as big as he is - too precious! ❤

Anyone else think it's hilarious how the mom will tend the babies so carefully but then send them sprawling when she leaves the nest?
Food or comfort, you can't have both 😅
@@mu8242 it's very comical, I can't imagine delivering seven bowling ball sized eggs 😂
i know, im always worried its gonna hurt them and then i remember they weigh like an ounce. 😂
I know 😂 the males do more of the care of the chicks than the females
The females have a orange under bill
@@RobertEFuller Thank you for telling me, that's good to know!
Amazing! Thank you for all of your effort and gentleness so we may all see these blessings of Nature❤
