Nice vlog discussion. Personally I went with full exhaust on my ‘18 FLSL Milwaukee 8 107ci.
    V&H short shots staggered
    V&H fuelpak fp3 tuner
Arlen Ness Big sucker stage 1 intake
Personally I just love the rumble, sound and looks of the short shots since I had them on my last Harley. I Love them.
I would add the INTAKE heavy breather is a must on the Milwaukee 8, slip on or full exhaust. It made a huge difference opening up the power and performance.
There’s different styles, almost went with a Ram air. But we got a killer deal on two Arlen ness big suckers, so we went that route.
On our 2018 FXBB 107ci we..
Vance Hines Twin Slash 3” slip on
    Vance Hines Fuelpak Fp3
    Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake
Ok so like mentioned in your vlog, price is key, we got the FXBB slips (brand new) for free, so that was a no brainer. I saved up and got holiday deals on my FLSL full exhaust setup.
So, from personal experience, we are both happy with the SLIP ON and FULL exhaust , (both fuelpak fp3 and intake)
Since the Milwaukee 8 is just a quiet motor, than say a sporty or dyna, you aren’t going to get this massive Loud sound (even with the shorty pipes)
Even still the full exhaust is a bit louder than slip ons.
If you decide to do slip ons, the fuelpak and intake are a MUST. We ran just the v&h slips without fp3 and intake and it just felt obviously lacking in power , stock tune.
The fp3 alone really solved all the problems with power loss but the intake added much more.
I’m planning to do a video myself to help others decide. But anything is WAY better than the weak sauce stock exhaust. Way too quiet and detuned.
Glad we went with the Vance fp3 tuners as well. Considering cams stage 2 but that’s for later on.!

madfzr haha nice to get the slip ons for free! How you finding the Big Sucker? I’ve heard they had issues with oil leaking from them? I have the Heavy Breather in mine and it makes a huge difference having a Stage 1 full system rather than stock. I use the DynoJet Power Vision mapper and got DynoJet to email over their preloaded map for the M8 when I did the stage 2 cam on mine. Worked a treat! Can’t recommend a new cam upgrade enough! Worth every penny 🤘🤘🤘

I had supertrapp 2 into 1 pipes and loved them on my old 1200 Sporty. Have Vance & Hines straight pipes now. For me I just try to match the style of the bike to the sound. Good info kn this video, I learned something new. 👍

Just put Cobra 2-1 El Diablo Pipes on my FXBB 2 days ago along with an FP3 and Extreme Air Breather. I wanted to get something different than TBR or Bassani. Very impressed with both the quality and sound.

dfouler62 NICE!!! Yeah TBR and V&H are a bit done now. Always good to see a change. Bet the new pipes sound great👌 Makes you feel so good to hear that growl under your legs 🤘🤘🤘Enjoy buddy!

StreetBobberVlogger Thanks man! Yeah they sound so mean. I just went for a ride today. You know...had to jump on and go before it starts raining again here in the UK. It was cold but it was worth it to hear the growl of the new pipes! I'm hoping to put a video up soon. Also, do you organize any group rides in the warmer months for your followers? Thanks for all your amazing info and tips. Ride safe man!

3 mode "ESE" Kesstech for my BreakOut 114. Pros: great sound (especially with the fully open position "on"), medium position when in town and silent when I start my bike at 7:30am. Plus they are good looking. The (great) con: Price! at €2.300, man, this is an expensive exhaust. But in my opinion, it's worth every cent: where I live, neighbors rally up during the week end against loud bikes (there are so many) and eventually call the police. I escaped major trouble with the police at least half a dozen time in the past 3-4 months already.

Marc Aurèle man that would suck...yeah one of the reasons I picked the TBR was for is less offensive idle volume. My neighbours are fine with bike. A lot ride themselves, just not loud ass HD’s. Still I don’t wanna be “that guy with the Harley” pudding everyone off 🙄🤘😂

Gentlemen, I have a 2015 Street Bob. I can say this with some authority: The Bassani Road Rage 3 Is the way to go. Does well for power. Steel. 2 in 1. Sturdy as hell, and can be quiet when you want it, just purring along, or a roaring beast. The only sound better, by my humble opinion, is the Rhinhard Racing.

I do not see the complication. Just hear out all the sounds and pick the one you like.

Would like to try a Harley sometime, might go down riders and go for a test ride when I get a day off lol 😎

Scary moment on those Dunlop's, any future plans to change the brand? I believe Avon and Metzeler are good.

I paid $400 for black VnH eliminator 300s. They were flaking paint n rusting within a year! Trying RCX slash cut now. $250. I like the sound better.

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад

al go man that sucks the V&H did that. I guess the good think is they are easily replaced. Still not cheap. Nice not heard the RCX sound is important, especially is you are in to slip-ons.👌

Still going out and on those tyres don't let the misses see this one or she won't be jumping on 🤣. Exhaust once had custom made pipes for the xl1200c sportster I had really liked the look of them but they were sodding loud they gave me migraines 🤣.

    • @StreetBobberVlogger
      @StreetBobberVlogger  5 лет назад +1

Alan Crane haha no I don’t let her know about the near misses! 😂 Awesome! Bet they sounded great...I know what you mean though...if they are too loud, it can get a bit too much on long rides. Even mine give me a head ache after a while. Can’t complain though. They make me ride better 🤘

I put V&H's Big Radius exhaust on my bike (got a video on my channel if you wanna take a listen) and overall they are great. A bit loud but not obnoxious. Only real downfall is how I scrape the bottom of exhaust on some good corners. They sit lower than my peg.

Which exhaust has the potato sound?

  • @muttley7957

Doesn’t really matter what exhausts you get. A fuel injection bubble head will sound crap no matter what.
