The first time I heard this song was on a skate video. My first thought was; the skateboard tricks are the video for this song! Complete paradigm shift of my thought processes, helping me gather insight into this present reality, where I reside for the time being! Music is the awakening!
holy hell i just heard Melody day on a Trentmoller CD i bought and started searching for more of their stuff. Nice to find a band that can actually pull it off LIVE! amazing
There's nothing like seeing a band live and having the music reverberate inside your chest as it plays you like a bass drum. Caribou won't disapoint. And there's no such thing as cheating in this instance. The more music the better!

This song make syou fell like strapping a giant kite to your back and running around a park on a windy day. Such an original tune, loooove it! anyone tell what "The pink room" is ?
What is the drummer riding on at the beginning of the song ? I would assume a device that produces this jinggle bells sound, but I'm not seeing anything.
They performed Andorra so much better than they perform Swim, but I think it's just a result of the sound of the album translating well to a live setting.

I caught them at Barton's Bordello in London England, and at the Starlight in Waterloo, Ontario.
These guys put on a good show.

@Legotruck82 Trentmoller - Harbour boat trips copenhagen, but i believe it's a Four Tet remix. TBH i like this original just as much :)
@omgnuub sometimes yo have to do that kind of stuff because your voice won't reach the key... anyway this is amazing dude..
Makes Yo La Tengo look like Slayer.

Not many (male) singers are able to sing that high live, while playing an instrument ontop of that.

Can you recomend me bands like caribou on this era? im not digging the "Our Love" vibes as much as i did with andorra.
Not exactly the same but I would recommend White Denim - D album and Corsicana to start with. Also perhaps Unknown Mortal Orchestra, all albums.
The Babe Rainbow.
Lol, I've already answered... oh, okay. Maybe even add Dungen (both singing and instrumental). I'll come back in a few more years
just a flute sample?
What the chorus says?... "Brilla" ??
hahahaha
Please help me!! I`m curious...
"Biertje", the Dutch word for beer.
He’s actually saying “Be there…”
