Emily gave her 100% last night, and sounds better every time. The band was also visibly ecstatic and energised by the crowd's size, reception and singing. The set list excellent, lights amazing, sound great to good, but that AC in the arena is a technological marvel. Paris successfully hosted (so far) the largest celebration of Linkin Park's return.
Been a DS and LP fan for years. Emily’s range is insane considering the high notes she can hit (more evident so far in DS songs) and how LOW she gets on classic LP songs. It is SO hard to sing as low as she does (I am thinking she’s a mezzo soprano) and be LOUD at the same time. Ik they pitch up some of the LP songs but even then, that shit’s hard and she’s excelling
Still waiting for her to hold the 17 second scream without taking a breath. Only chester could do that. She is still the best choice they ever made. FU haters.
It’s worth noting that in the later shows Chester started breaking it up into two parts to save his voice, Emily is probably just following his example
