There are parts of this song I dislike, but I can't stop listening to it. The way Ezra rides that bassline is just magical.
There’s so many things to dislike and like about this song.
A slight deviation of sound seems to upset a few people. But i think this is top nice work!
The sound kind of harkens to LCD Soundsystem. Interesting change of sound, but to have something like Temporary View on the same album, it should also be interesting to see how the album flows and how the other tracks sound.
Especially as they are next to each other on the tracklisting

Was really liking it at the start but kept waiting for the melody to really kick in, which didn't happen... have a feeling that this is a song that needs to be taken in context of the album to really be appreciated, Temporary View is just way better a standalone single. Ezra does a great job though!

New York was called New Amsterdam, because it was partly founded by the Dutch. Dorp in Dutch is village, so I guess it's a small side-village of New York, which now is included in the huge area of New York :)

This is really good. Enjoying the metallic percussion and Koenig's vocal work on this, and the bass line kinda ties it all together into a sleazy city beat.
