Wow I can't believe you actually did something on your own nail 👏 Yes I use dual forms. I would like to see you do more nail sets on yourself. Thank you for sharing 💜
Natalie I'm totally impressed with your duel form Russian almond!!! It is so beautiful! I'm heading over to nail sugar right now!!! Yeaaaa! I think you should do way more of these videos of you doing your nails! Next time please show us how you take off the nail with the peelable base! It's so beautiful Natalie!
I love how it turned out. Russian Almond is one of my favorite shapes. I have duel forms for a Russian Almond like what you have but honestly, I’m so used to sculpting them out.
It’s so nice to see you with a nail on. I’ve used the lazy girl technique and I really like that. Might given the dual forms a go too. So pretty Natalie. ❤
I absolutely LOVE LOVE Love these! I ordered some of these dual forms and was too confused about how to place them on my nail because I also like an apex. I'm so glad you made this video. I love this nail shape!! ❤❤💖💖🌸🌸
That looks so good 😊 on you Nats…. I wish you would do your whole nails ☺️ I have natural nails but I use full cover nail tips and sculpturing for my clients 😉😁
@5:12 FYI if you set the jar of Savailand builder gel in a very warm bowl of water the gelbecomes more viscous /self leveling. I always love you are trying new things and always have such an uplifting spirit abut the learning curves! I hope you are wellIt has been a while since I visited your channel!
Gorgeous 😍 I've seen others do that but in steps with the dual form. Smile line first then etc just using a dual form instead of a paper form. Sorry, I'm not good at explaining things either. But yes it can be done in steps with dual form. I've been wanting to try it but just haven't yet. Thanks for sharing and God bless. 💜🩷💜🤗
She is Gorgeous 🤩😍🤩😍🤩 I have dualforms but it's been a while since I've used them.. 🫣 Since I'm using full cover tips, I'm getting lazy.. 😁😜 I do have the excuse that I can't work long on my nails with my back, but still.. 🤭🤭 And I have different Polygels, so that's also not the issue.. 🤪😝 Thanks for sharing . I loved the color scheme and those stones 🤩🤩🤩 Sending you much love and appreciation.. 😘😘😘🥰🥰💙💜🩷
That is so pretty and great to see you doing on a real finger 😁 As a DIY’r I always sculpt my own with hybrid gel, very wary about using dual forms as it’s difficult for it not to squeeze out onto the skin and impossible to see any air pockets. I did cringe when you tried to backfill 😬
Omg *how* did I miss this notification? I love this nail! Would love to see more dual form usage from you, actually. Between this video and one that Ninja Nail Fairy recently did using dual forms, y'all have convinced me to break out my Russian Almond forms this weekend! They just make such a gorgeous nail. 💜💜💜
I usually sculpt on myself. I used dual forms on my sister and a friends. Good results on my sister. Issues with lifting on friend as her nails are flat and wide. I sampled on myself and no dualform to fit my wide thumb, the other nails require me to tidy up around the nail. You have to get the proper amount inside so it doesn't spill to the sidewalls etc. anyway. Will continue to use on my sister, she liked the feel of them vs partial tips. I like the Russian almond, so pretty.
Great video Nat! I have struggled in my head for ages now what I think about these russian nail shapes lol I still can't make my mind up if I like it for myself or not.

It's so interesting to see the different products you use compared to US. I started off with Duo form, but, they were really awful 🤣. Switched to the paper ones & did a lot of sculpting, filing😟. Never heard of Russian Almond. You make everything fun & pretty💖
I love that you did it on yourself and it turned out really nice! The regular duel forms are a no for me but I only work on myself. Theses ones would be great for diy’ers to get the shape correct. I love the Russian almond. I’m still working on a decent ballerina. It’s hard to work on yourself. All the crazy angles. Takes forever. You still have to practice with these too I’m sure just like anything. Really beautiful result. That shake looks good on you btw! 💅❤️👏🙇♀️ did you link the article you mentioned? I don’t see it. 👀
I wonder if 1 day ul surprise us with a full set of nails in gel, with yr easy 2 follow instructions then finshed with a lovely cluster of gems xxxxxxxx
Nat can I ask wot nail bit u used please, I love my melody susie efile its gr8 not bein attached 2 anythin less 2 get caught up on when doin nail prep on lap xxxxxxx
When i did this, the gel ended up not cured once i put the dual form on my nail. It seemd cured but after a day i found out that every layer was cured besides the one that was supposed to bind gels in the form with the nail...is my lamp not strong enough? Its new, 48w..
They look beautiful! Love the detail you put in them. Does the curved under part of the tip bother you? I’m genuinely curious, I’ve never seen a shape where the underside of the nail(tips) are so long. Does it make it hard to type, pick things up, etc?
I've worn this shape before and yes, there's definitely a learning curve when it comes to picking things up with these lol. But you get used to it after a day or so 🤷♀️😂
I am an old bat 🦇and come from the days when your only choice was to sculpt nails or look like you glued Lego to the end of your fingers 😹. I still prefer to sculpt and try to talk every one into growing out their own nails under a coat of something. But forget it in this day of NOW. I have used dual forms and acrygel not a fan of either. They do make nice quick work for dyi or short term use providing you have great nail beds. Most people have at least one or two odd nails so I can see a lot of consultation and clean up work in the future for nail techs and Doctors if this becomes super popular

Love it, love the shape 🥰🥰🥰
Well done👏 You made this stunning💜
Yay! I love this shape just haven’t been able to try it. Unfortunately I can’t find shorter tips and I can’t wear long nails d/t work…
Can these be cut to make them shorter but still look just as good
I like the idea of dual forms but they def have a learning curve. If you're not super careful they can get bulky underneath
Yes! Totally agree! Xxz
I’d love to do these nails but don’t think I would have the patience to do a whole set lol x
