- Heroine is a 2012 Indian drama film directed, written, and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar. Revolving around the life of a once successful film actress whose career is on the decline, the film features Kareena Kapoor as the protagonist along with actors Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Rakesh Bapat. Additionally, the project also stars Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shillpi Sharma, Mugdha Godse and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles. Heroine released on 21 September 2012 across 2000 screens.
Couldn't care less about nepotism. She is a born star❤ Never seen an actress depict an unstable character like Mahi to this level.
The way Mahi portrayed her pain…unbelievable, when it comes to expressions, be it bubbly, or sad or dramatic, no one is near bebo’s level❤
Halkat jawaani was also a nice song, and bebo’s presence adds an extra level to every song because of her exotic expressions and her AURA💞

Her character portrayed anxious attachment & co-dependency, which is common when parents are unavailable during childhood, so kids grow into adults repeating the pattern; needing it from others (Aryan).
