    Those rocks were huge. The shot with your son in front of the boulders really gave perspective about how big the rocks were. It looks like you got your workout with how steep some of those sections were. I liked how in the one view you could see the rollercoasters. Nice your son came with you and wanted to be on camera. My kids are hot and cold about it. Sometimes they do not want to be on film at all, other times they are more agreeable. I just try to do what they want and am always happy they are hiking with me.

      Yeah, our son loves being on camera, but the getting lost part is why he doesn't come along more often. Thank you so much for your comments and for watching!

    Those are some impressive boulders! They remind me of the big boulders you find in Yosemite 😊 Beautiful forest trails 👣 Cool to see some old Homestead ruins.

      We were pleasantly surprised with this hike, which doesn't have much play on RUclips. Thanks for watching from the Golden State!

    You got some nice closeups of those frogs. I think you did the trail in the opposite direction from when we visited here. The boulders really were surprise to us. We did not make it to the top like you did. Happy hiking.👍17

      @CraigKoppel yes, when I watched your video, it was from a different perspective. We were surprised by the boulders, too. Thanks for watching!

    That sure is an amazing area to explore. Was actually thinking about how Helene may have affected you in the area? Thoughts and prayers are certainly for all affected...sure has been on the news here. Take care and hope you have yourself a wonderful weekend.

      @LumberjackPa  Месяц назад +1

      We haven't been affected, and fortunately, I my family south of us wasn't either. Prayers are much appreciated for our fellow citizens who are in the thick of this tragic event.

      @@krohikinghappens The thought of climbing them never crossed my mind. That would have given more perspective as to the enormity of them. Thanks for watching!

    When I discovered a new plant, I sat down beside it for a minute or a day, to make its acquaintence and hear what it had to tell. I asked the boulders I met, whence they came and wither they are going.
