Nice hike , beautiful area .😁😁👍👍
@@PATG3Randomthoughts thank you for your kind words!
You should include a warning that there will be a 4K close-up on your face. I got quite a startle. 😂Just kidding! I'm glad you didn't get hurt.
😆! I was definitely not hired for my face it was my body. No major boo boos sustained during this video. Your support is appreciated!
What a wonderfully pretty area! Lovely shore line and I even see you have plenty of Canadians hanging around. My goodness, I know those tumbles all to well. If Otis was there he'd lick your wounds and think none of the least of you. lol Take good care and have a wonderful weekend!
Contrary to what you might hear, citizens of the USA don't mind migrants who enter legally or by wing. Otis is the best! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@LumberjackPa LOL...indeed, those wings sure do take them far and wide! LOL

And we love you right back! Arizona's Master BBQ Pitmaster in the house!
The lake is beautiful 😊 I like the crunches of the leaves on your hike. It is sad to see trash thrown around on the ground like that. The view from the bridge of the autumn colors around the lake is so pretty 😊
I was mesmerized by the views also! It was a truly great hike except the tumble😁. Thank you for coming along with us!
That's great that this is open to the public. We have a reservoir near me that they have fenced off and I always think it would be next to explore.
Green Lane is another reservoir nearby that has extensive hiking as a feature. Thanks for watching!
No hunting on Sundays! Wow! How to hear a woodpecker, ...be in bed resting, that is when one usually hears one! LOL Nice weather for sure. Thanks for taking me on the fun adventure! God Bless!
@@PaulieDetmurds we were glad to take you along!
I'm so terrible with Maps! I have walked off trail many times thinking; this looks like the trail... You did an awesome job not getting lost with that map my friend!
I will take your congratulations knowing that there's always the next time for getting lost😂. Thanks for watching and commenting, Darcy!
I drove my car across that bridge more times that I can count on all my fingers and toes before they deemed this bridge unsafe to drive across
@@ThirdHandle wow, that's news to me! Thanks for sharing!
@ was probably 2012??
❤great music!😊🎉❤❤❤
@debbiehills2928 thanks Debbie!
I love watching them in the spring when the little gooselings are following mom and dad around.
@@krohikinghappensI agree that is so cute to watch.
Great footage
@@hikingoutdoorfamily Yes, thanks to you and your kindness to us!
Yes, nice stone bench. A little hard on my old behind, but it worked. Trail looks familiar 😊.
@quietjohnoutandabout6578 I didn't find the stone bench particularly comfortable either! Thanks for watching, John!
That used to be called Earl pool sanctuary That's what threw me off a little bit I have pictures of the old barn that was out front
@@Dwvideos it's always nice to get historical information from other content creators! Thanks for watching and sharing the history!
Wow, a big thanks to Bob and his fans! What a great area!!
@@wendingourway I believe that you would love this place. Thanks for watching!
So does Bob know you are in his woods? Looks like a nice hike
He doesn't, but I believe he would be happy that we are enjoying his namesake. Thanks Sherry!
Bob's woods was enjoyable. Thanks for taking us. 👍🙂🙏
You're most welcome, Dave!
Looks like Bob let you have the trail all to yourself! 😉 "61 degrees...perfect hiking weather." I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for sharing!
That Bob guy is quite generous for sure. This is definitely prime time for hiking! Thanks, and happy trails to you!
Oh ma!! I saw this title, and we have been somewhere that was known for Bob was here. It's driving me crazy that I can't remember 😅 At any rate, if I remember, I will post back. This area is just beautiful! I enjoy the fall colors! 😊
Thanks NPP! I look forward to your memory returning😁.
@LumberjackPa I'm still thinking 🤔 😅

@@LumberjackPa Your welcome.
Nice walk in the woods, I didn't see any Bobs though. I think I heard one, maybe. 🙂
It's like, where's Waldo. He's very difficult to find.
Looks like a good place for a short hike. I just love local parks like this because they are the places most of us can make time to visit.
We do plenty of these smaller parks on Sunday after church. Just enough fresh air to get us out before going back to work. Thanks for watching and commenting!
A terrible storm... I sure am glad your mom is okay... Much Support, Jim
Thank you, Jim!
Looks very similar to the Linfield bridge near Limerick. Got a beautiful fresh coat of paint not long ago, it seems
@@ameyring thanks for watching and commenting! I assume that you mean the bridge just before 724. It looks fantastic!
I love these old structures. You can't help but think how it looked back in the day when it was first built and all the people that used it to get where they were going. Love that you made a video like this to share with us. I'm glad it isn't completely trashed.
@@darcyshikingdiaries thanks Darcy! We like to hike, but seeing older ruins or architecture is fun too!
Would be nice, eh?? Although by now we are all so used to detouring that we hardly notice anymore. Cool vid....I haven't actually been on the bridge since it closed.
It does become kinda second nature once something is taken away to just make do. Thanks for watching and leaving some very kind words!
I am praying for Pennsylvania to help bring back TRUMP to the White House! MAGA 2024 for sure! God Bless!
You know what, I absolutely love old bridges like that! I remember my father taking me trout fishing about 55 years ago under bridges like this. Yes, that was right around 1969. I drive down I-75 and I pass what was an old exit that now goes to nowhere, and always think about walking it? Nice footage here in this video. I am sure that bridge could be revived if they desired, but there are probably a ton of EPA concerns that I would say and call BS. Oh, so there are plans? That is cool if it happens! The interstate highways killed a lot of bridges like this too! Enjoyed!
Hey Paulie, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these time capsules and the positive feedback. Those arches just stand out. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The views of the river along this bridge are just stunning, especially with the fall foliage! It would be great if it could be made structurally sound and made into part of a walking trail 😊
@nationalparksprincess3216 an extension or spur off of the Schuylkill River Trail, is an excellent idea! Thanks for watching from the other side of the country!
It saddens me that they’d rather replace than fix and keep the history
Especially if it had been through that massive flooding. At the time, President Richard Nixon declared it the worst natural disaster in history. Thanks for watching, Sherry!
I remember 10 years old standing on top of the kine Street bridge over 422 and 422 was underwater underneath the bridge and I could just see the tops of the humps of that bridge sticking out of the water when Agnes hit
@Dwvideos yowza! I can totally understand why you would remember that, especially at that age. That's an impressive and devastating amount of flooding. I was about five years old and lived in the relative safety of the trailer park across from Hilltop in Sanatoga. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Good to hear your mom was ok after the hurricane. Family first.
Thanks Regina!
😊nice viseo.❤
Thanks, Debbie! It's kinda nature.
That was a cool little adventure but man, that walkway looked a little sketchy when you first stepped onto it. I was also thinking about how long the bridge looked before you mentioned it. Thanks for sharing.
Just a little video to bring attention to a neat relic of the past. Thanks for watching!
That indeed is one amazing iron bridge! Sure do hope it greats repaired and rehabilitated. Sad to see these wonderful structures disappear!!
Yeah, especially after surviving Hurricane Agnes and all of the other weather over the years. Thank you for stopping by!
Cool. Those insulated pipes remind me of the steam pipes we had going all over Johnstown to send steam to different parts of the steel mills there.
That's interesting to know! I do think that they convey wires, though. Thanks, Dave!
Nice views of the creek from that bridge. I really hope they do refurbish it and reopen it. Sounds like it is needed.
I didn't expect the views to be so pretty, but it shows up well in video. Thanks for coming along!
I love these old Iron bridges as well. It gives the bridges character, unlike these modern concrete bridges. I hope they can repair it and keep the character of it. Thanks for taking us along
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
They are from a bygone era for sure! It was my pleasure that you checked in to take a look at an old friend.
To me it appears as if the bridge is still in pretty good shape. I'm glad that there's a plan to refurbish it. Great video, my friend!
I am hopeful, but not counting on it. It was supposed to start this year, and this year is almost over. Thanks for watching!
I live right down the street and never knew this place existed. Thanks, as I'll be checking this out over the weekend!
