We have never heard him say that before, and he does it with actual sincerity, not because it is simply expected.

Imagine it- she lures Grimes back, captures him, turns him him in to Andrias, and in return Andrias forgets that the attempted take over ever happened. Power and control mean nothing if you're all alone no allies or friends or even lovers. Manipulation and lying only works for so long before the truth is revealed and how the facades fade. It's been very clear since the battle at toad tower that Anne's opinion of Sasha matters to her very much. Sasha cares for both Anne and Marcy but I really think she really wants to have a close bond type relationship with Anne.
Everyone is just talking about Sasha’s development in this episode, but there’s also Grime who developed. Grime chose to protect the girl that gave life more meaning, and stay with her, instead of going for more numbers and fortification. Grime is an absolute legend, and has already been confirmed to get more character development through the season.

Anne's parents probably thinking this whole episode now, you know how difficult it is to take care of someone else. I also liked how Anne's character has grown. It was so great to see our favourite duo in the show Sasha and Grime back together again. I like how they're bond has grown. I got to love how Grime is probably the first parental figure in Sasha's life that actually cares about her well-being and gives her advice.

I'm glad that Sasha got to be confronted head-on by the consequences of her actions with how Anne completely ended their friendship. It's lonely at the top, and she needed to reach that point through all her controlling and manipulation to learn that lesson. I feel like the town accepted her too fast after how they reacted to Marcy, but I guess fighting the robots went a long way in that regard, and she didn't directly contribute to that situation, unlike the New Wartwood fiasco. Can't wait to see more from her!

I've loved Sasha's character since the beginning, I knew she was complex. I'm so glad we got her redemption arc start early, I've also been waiting for redemption for awhile because it was gonna happen. When and how were the questions I had, I think they started it well but I do hope next time we see her she's still working on herself (but is getting better) because that's just reality, no one's gonna change on a dime especially if they've been that way for a long time. I am excited to see what they have in store for Sasha and the rest of the characters

It might be but the way Sascha behaves seems more like her parents are neglecting her so I don't think they would put in the effort of making her dye her hair. So I think it's either that she used to have blond hair as a child and it got darker when she got older so she dies it now. Or she is naturally blonde (very likely considering, that she doesn't have any roots showing even though she's been in amphibia for over 5 months) and people often assume she dies her hair.
1. I didn't assume anything about Olivia & Yunnan until I realized that the fan base was doing fan base things; though, I would be okay with it if the ship ends up sailing. Will I be mad if nothing happens? No. Will I smirk if hints are dropped that it is happening? Yes. Will I be pleasantly surprised if we get a confirmation of sorts? Also Yes. 2. Ya, Sasha & Grimes might have aggravated their bad tendencies in season one, but After their struggles in Season two, they started to bring out better aspects in each other. Sasha helped open Grimes up to caring about people on the individual level, and Grimes helped Sasha to look inward and make a personal evaluation of herself. Grimes never trusted/cared about someone to the degree he came to trust & care about Sasha over the course of this series. & Sasha, after attempting a revolution with Grimes for the wrong reasons, got to understand the consequences of her overly obsessive need to be in control and was finally able to come to terms with what really matters. Sasha & Grimes might each be just what the other needed to develop into better versions of themselves. Grimes now better understands the value of the individual, and that only looking at a collective is unwise. Sasha now understands that her need for control blinded her to what she really cares most about. And now, they are open to change and can take on their Redemption Arcs at full form. And Anne had the Planters & the rest of Wartwood, no further explanation needed. But Marcy... manly had Andreas. Andreas was using Marcy from the beginning. Marcy never had the connections that would help her grow & improve. Marcy didn't have to struggle or look inward (or rather, wasn't able to), and she never had any real personal moments with her primary connections in Amphibia. And because of that, Marcy was robbed of the chance to grow that Anne was given and Sasha is finally ready to accept. I'm happy that Sasha is getting this redemption arc, but taking the time to think about it really shows how Marcy got the short straw, despite looking the shiniest of the three.
When Sasha says she wants to be good enough for Anne, it feels more like she wants to deserve Anne's friendship and trust. And I mean, she hadn't done much to help in that department recently.
It took me a while to fully like Sasha given her decisions and controlling personality, but now she’s come around, and I could not be more proud of her. It’s nice to know that with all her physical strength, she’s grown to develop emotional strength. I just hope Anne and Marcy realize when they encounter each other again.

Sasha kinda reminds me of Amity… Sasha is tied for my favourite character (tied with Marcy). I love how badass she is even when becoming a better person.
I think that what they've done with Sasha is some of the best character work of the entire series, and it's even more impressive when you look at how relatively little time she's actually gotten over the first two seasons. Like even from her first appearance you could tell, "Okay she's clearly got some flaws, but at the same time we can't write her off as uncaring or selfish." Then throughout season 2 we see her more vulnerable and conflicted, which (unfortunately) ends with her doubling down on her more negative qualities (cough-Catra-cough). And now finally, we've seen her "hit rock bottom" and finally resolve to change out of the love of her friends that we knew she always had. I'm so excited to watch her arc continue.
Okay but I can NOT believe that you cut out the part where Grime tells Sasha to return to him, and then stops, looks back, and says "Please..." like, that was easily one of the best parts of the episode 😭❤️

I was crying again to see what happened to Marcy. AGAIN! I saw a video that shows that Anne & Sasha were screaming Marcy's name at the same time. 😭 I also see Hooty's face on the hammer. There was even Bill Cipher in "Hop 'til you drop' & a Gideon plushie in the intro. But sadly Marcy was removed from the end scene of the intro. 😢 I was also crying when Sasha read the journal. But it was so sweet when she snuggled with Bessie & Microangelo. 🐌🐌 And how sweet it was, when Grime was feeding the bat with strawberries. 💖💖🦇🍓 I like the dynamic between Yunnan & Olivia. There will be an episode, which is named after them. So it will be there, where we will see the scenes with Marcy from the trailer. And congrats to the voice actor of King Andrias. When he said "She's fading fast!" it was so emotionless how he says it. It fits to Andrias and make me hate him even more. It's unforgiveable what he has done to Marcy. Marcy is my favorite (she is a nerd; my favorite charas are always the nerds). I wasn't sure about Sasha's redemption. After all what happened. But she began to struggling with her decisions in 'True colors'. After seeing what happened to Marcy and reading Anne's journal she made her decision to being good. Something Anne said in the second temple. She was a thief and a liar. But making these mistakes helped her for choosing good. It's the same for Sasha. She saw the consequences and choosed good. When Grime says "Please!" it shows how much he cares for Sasha. He want her at his side when fighting. So when she decided to protect the town for real, he decided to fight at her side. And how impressed both were, when the towns people fighted the robots. 🤣 Now they have their own army. I like the first part of this episode. It was really funny. But the second part was tragic, heartbreaking but also a little bit funny and cool. Like I said, I wasn't sure if Sasha can make it to a redemption, but it worked. It worked really well. I'm excited for the next episodes!
personal experience: because so many people dye their hair lighter, everyone asks you if your hair is "actually blonde." And, most annoyingly, a lot of people just outright declare you're hair "must be fake" (I guess dyed hair isn't real hair anymore...?) or don't believe you when you tell them you're a natural blonde. So Sasha is most likely a natural blonde but would have to constantly answer people walking up to her asking: "Oh wow! Is that your REAL HAIR COLOR?!"

When I first watched, I read all of Sasha's "want to be better for you" lines as she wanted to be a good friend. I think it could go either way but I kinda feel like they would have dropped more vague hints if we were going to establish any kind of more than friends relationship. Marcy didn't have to struggle or look inward (or rather, wasn't able to), and she never had any real personal moments with her primary connections in Amphibia. And because of that, Marcy was robbed of the chance to grow that Anne was given and Sasha is finally ready to accept.
I'm happy that Sasha is getting this redemption arc, but taking the time to think about it really shows how Marcy got the short straw, despite looking the shiniest of the three.
I feel like she is gonna start reacting to Ghost and Molly McGee when Amphibia goes on hiatus or something.

It took me a while to fully like Sasha given her decisions and controlling personality, but now she’s come around, and I could not be more proud of her. It’s nice to know that with all her physical strength, she’s grown to develop emotional strength. I just hope Anne and Marcy realize when they encounter each other again.

I think that what they've done with Sasha is some of the best character work of the entire series, and it's even more impressive when you look at how relatively little time she's actually gotten over the first two seasons. Like even from her first appearance you could tell, "Okay she's clearly got some flaws, but at the same time we can't write her off as uncaring or selfish." Then throughout season 2 we see her more vulnerable and conflicted, which (unfortunately) ends with her doubling down on her more negative qualities (cough-Catra-cough). And now finally, we've seen her "hit rock bottom" and finally resolve to change out of the love of her friends that we knew she always had. I'm so excited to watch her arc continue.
Okay but I can NOT believe that you cut out the part where Grime tells Sasha to return to him, and then stops, looks back, and says "Please..." like, that was easily one of the best parts of the episode 😭❤️

Sasha and Grime have one of my favorite friendships in the show.
They both brought out the best in each other and I love watching both of them become better people.

I like the dynamic between Yunnan & Olivia. There will be an episode, which is named after them. So it will be there, where we will see the scenes with Marcy from the trailer.
And congrats to the voice actor of King Andrias. When he said "She's fading fast!" it was so emotionless how he says it. It fits to Andrias and make me hate him even more. It's unforgiveable what he has done to Marcy. Marcy is my favorite (she is a nerd; my favorite charas are always the nerds).
I wasn't sure about Sasha's redemption. After all what happened. But she began to struggling with her decisions in 'True colors'. After seeing what happened to Marcy and reading Anne's journal she made her decision to being good. Something Anne said in the second temple. She was a thief and a liar. But making these mistakes helped her for choosing good. It's the same for Sasha. She saw the consequences and choosed good.
When Grime says "Please!" it shows how much he cares for Sasha. He want her at his side when fighting. So when she decided to protect the town for real, he decided to fight at her side. And how impressed both were, when the towns people fighted the robots. 🤣
Now they have their own army.
I like the first part of this episode. It was really funny. But the second part was tragic, heartbreaking but also a little bit funny and cool.
Like I said, I wasn't sure if Sasha can make it to a redemption, but it worked. It worked really well.
I'm excited for the next episodes!

personal experience: because so many people dye their hair lighter, everyone asks you if your hair is "actually blonde." And, most annoyingly, a lot of people just outright declare you're hair "must be fake" (I guess dyed hair isn't real hair anymore...?) or don't believe you when you tell them you're a natural blonde. So Sasha is most likely a natural blonde but would have to constantly answer people walking up to her asking: "Oh wow! Is that your REAL HAIR COLOR?!"
