The fabric grocery bag holders are darned near free at yard sales and thrift stores. Hold a TON of bags. Like everyone in the 2000s you can also make one fairly cheep.
I think the washer door holder is supposed to go on the frame of the washer and not inside the door area. That might mean you can better-customize the hold to clear the door to the room. That’s why instructions would have been nice!
That was my EXACT thought too. I actually use a larger soft bristle scrub brush. My hands tend to cramp when holding small things so I use a more comfortable larger brush. Whichever you choose I say $1.25 is a lot better than $5.99
@@darlenedavis8690 the good with DT $1.25 brushes for washing fingernails is they have curved ends so fingers can be kept even straight. The brush still stays in place, and only small movement of wrist or arm is needed. I have a joint disease so my fingers get often stiff and they hurt. I never buy expensive stuff for everyday tasks if I can substitute with something cheaper that does the same job or is even better.
For the washer door prop, I'd probably put it over more to the side if possible, so that when you want to close it you can just bend the bar out of the way rather than having to take it off and put it somewhere. That said, I don't know how convenient that would be compared to just using a towel like you did, since I've only ever used top loading washers.
That’s exactly how I use mine. It’s bent around the door in such a way it holds it open to where the door doesn’t swing open either. It was well worth the money for me!
For that potato spud, I wish it was like a glove with brush bristles on the palm side. you can literally wash potatoes very very quickly without much effort.
To prop open my airfryer/toaster oven when not in use, I use one of those large, wire, shaker cup balls. I just hook it onto the door and it gently keeps it propped open.
I absolutely love when you have a bunch of items in one video. Your videos like these make my weekend! That eye mask is nice but not in hot weather or for hot sleepers. Need a cooling mask!
For anyone looking for a nice sleep mask i heavily recommend the Manta sleep mask. It's about 30 to 35 dollars but the eye cup are swappable with several variants and it's super well built (I've also heard the Tempur-Pedic one is pretty good). I used to get the ones like the one in the video but i found they only lasted for 6 months to a year below the elastic would go bad and the mask would need to be replaced, I'd recommend spending the higher price for the longer lasting product.
I have the washer door prop thing. I have to keep the washer door from swinging all the way open, not closed. So I bend it so it hold the door from the outside, keeping it mostly closed. I LOVE it! Works perfectly and would DEFINITELY but again.
They make a version of those BeKoool strips for kids when they have a fever. It has been a life saver in our household and has allowed our kids to get some needed sleep on nights when they would have been up battling a fever.
I think the neck liner might help if you're in a situation where you've got someone showing early signs of heat stroke or heat exhaustion, because then you can not only sit them down in the shade but pop one of those on the back of their neck to help them cool down more. I might buy a box of them to give to one of my buddies at work who works outside gathering and returning our carts.
I have Multiple Sclerosis and last summer while traveling to California our car broke down and we had to turn the car off, essentially losing the air conditioning. Literally within minutes I was violently sick and my husband had to call 911. Those cooling pads are going to be purchased immediately and put in our glove compartment. MS patients are extremely sensitive to heat and it could be a life or death situation, as we unfortunately found out.
I've used the sleep masks a couple of days a week for the last 3 years. (I work 3 different shifts each week and these help for my midnights.) The only issue I have is the plastic connector on the left side of the mask- it does tend to dig into my head and can get pretty uncomfortable. Other than that they work well.
I love the sleep masks and have been using them for a long time now. Originally I purchased for the hospital since I've had 15 surgeries and more often than not have a long stay at the hospital. They are great for blocking out the lights when I need to rest and when nurses come into the rooms in the middle of the night to check on vitals. I use them at home nightly as well and so does my husband. Easy to wash too as it says handwash but I put them in a delicate laundry bag and toss them in the machine without issues.
So glad you tested the cooling patch! Think it would be great for those of us who are heat sensitive and travel. The watermelon slicer, definitely something for us grandmas. The potatoes brush is just a cute version of a very old tool.
@@EmeraldHill-vo1cs - While you might want to try a nail brush, a vegetable brush has is stiffer. The vintage and higher end current ones have a natural bristle.
That peach tool is beyond greased lightning when you actually have a ripe peach and it will bang out avacados as well. You'd be surprised how little of the US population understands that the fruit they get at the store isn't ripe _and may never actually ripen_ The tater brush is probably a lot easier to hold with the feet between your thumb and index, its for kids so likely is just about right. The pizza tool is also for french bread thus the serrate knife side and actually makes a surprisingly good tool for handling thin steaks on the grill and large garlic bread slices. It might actually be a better outside tool for cookouts, chopping roast veggies and the like.
I LOVE these longer videos James!!! Dude, I would have had that entire watermelon eaten as well, LOL!!! Awesome video as always!! I will be back later to catch up.
Lol the funniest true thing I have ever heard you say: I dont know why I have so many bags, there's probably years worth of bags here. I have bags I brought up from San Diego to Washington eight years ago. They survived a flood due to a water leak under my sink but I figured they would dry out. They did but they stuck together but still, I kept them along with newer ones. Maybe I have a problem ...no, its pretty much for sure!
That popsicle thing looks fun, but you could pretty easily just take a slice of watermelon like that, slice it like a pizza, and cut some of the white rind out to form the handle. You'd use the whole watermelon that way, and it would be just as fun.
For the washing machine door prop, I would put the magnet where you had it. But areas of double folding the wire inside the door, wrap it around the outside of the door. The magnet will keep the door from closing and the wire portion will keep the door from opening wider than you want
As someone who loves pizza and worked in the industry for 10 years, I was cringing 😬 . That tool has useful options. First, you need something to hold the pizza as you take it off the rack. It's not intended to carry to a counter even if that's what the instructions say. Second, that cutter has to be somewhat weak, but watching the cut made me squirm. Love your videos. You do great work, and I look forward to more.
I just want to put a shout out for those sleep masks... I have that set, but have since graduated to a nicer, weighted one with the glass beads in. If anyone out there is like me, and you tend to wake up with dry, red, crusty eyes, a satin or silk sleep mask could be a real game changer. Especially the ones with the concave eyeball cups like above. They keep you from smashing your eyes against the pillow when sleeping on your side. I wake up with my eyes like 75% normal.
I’m super stoked you reviewed an eye mask. When I’m ready to fall asleep at night, I wear one. Mine is starting to fall apart and I need a new one. It’s so difficult to rate the quality based on the picture alone. When you mentioned that it worked too well, I just laughed and told myself “Yep, that’s the one I need”. One question, are they all the same or do the different colors correspond to your sleep position? Thank you! 😊
The pizza cutter isn’t made to remove an entire pizza from the oven. It’s only to be used to serve single slices. You still need a pizza peel to remove the entire pizza!
Not really true or else the end on it would taper down to a point more. Plus there is no need for the clamp to do a single slice, unless it were a much larger pizza but then it wouldn't extend under the pie enough and it would bend in half when you lifted it.
Can we just talk about the very odd sawing motion of him using a pizza wheel. You are supposed to put pressure and make one forward motion, then make a backward motion. Not saw it in tiny strokes

I have those eye masks with the deep nose bridge and concave eye covers, and they are AMAZING. Completely necessary for day sleepers. Highly recommended.
That grocery bag storage is a waste…I saw a hack that perfectly fits the storage of the shopping bags perfectly and costs $0. Take an empty Kleenex tissue dispenser (old style long one not cube style) remove clear plastic cover…..just fold plastic bag length wise and stuff into box . Always handy and bags pull out and you can put the box in kitchen cabinet , out of the way and yet handy as getting a drinking glass , plus it’s out of sight and takes up way less room.
@@lindas.8036 I have one like that that I got from Ikea years ago for about a dollar. The holes aren't intended just to allow it to bend, they allow you to stuff bags in and pull them out through them. Mine is mounted high on the wall in my pantry, high enough that we can't reach the top, so the holes are very useful.
We had a cloth bag sown into a sort of tube, opened both ends with elastic sown in. Just hang it from a convenient place, push the bags in through the top and pull one out from the bottom as you need them. Don't have it anymore because plastic shopping bags have been banned here now.

"The presidents of the United States of America" was the band named the song was called peaches. "Peaches come from a can they were put there by a man in a Factory downtown 🎶 "
Hey James, Try not pushing the peach so far down the peach pitter. That’s why there’s a “V” shape. If it’s down further than the diameter of the long edge of the pit, it won’t budge. So pull it up a bit and try again.
We use Pringles cans to hold grocery bags. They don't hold too many but we strategically place them all over the house so we don't have to go far to find one. On another note, I think it could be fun if you reviewed some items from Daiso dollar store, based out of Japan. We always enjoy going there when we are in the DFW area.
I got one of those 3d sleep masks, and it takes some adjusting to get it right if you are a stomach sleeper like me. I got one because I was convinced my regular mask usage was the cause of my eyelashes becoming practically nonexistent, and the 3d does keep it from rubbing my lashes. Nothing I've used to cut a pizza has proven more effective or easier to store than my Ulu knife. Joie makes some of the cutest kitchen accessories on the market, but not always the most effective or sturdy. I like the way you ranked them - I have several extremely effective kitchen gadgets that I just never bother to use because it's not worth the effort to dig them out/ wash them/ store them.
They have dog ice cream! Maybe Bailey could try it. Purina Frosty Paws at Target, Dogsters at Safeway, Ben&Jerry's Doggie Desserts at PetSmart and Petco.
I have the washing machine door magnet prop I brought it after I hit my knee on the door as I was walking past it’s good have it holding the door at a certain point so can walk past and not have it open to far
For the love of Dog, man, make Bailey some puppy-pops!!!! It's really easy - just get her favorite all-natural juice (or the fruit itself and juice it yourself, whichever) and mix it with some water and pop it in an ice cube tray!! When you give it to her, just pop a few into her water bowl :)
I should make some popsicles for my friends new pup. Before he passed his older dog absolutely loved ice. I was on a bit of a scow cone kick so I brought my ice shaver over & made him his own unflavored snow cones. Max would eat an entire pile of just shaved ice. But maybe I'll cheat & use some pulverized canned dog food just to see if Peanut likes it first.
To pit a peach or nectarine, (and plums and apricots) all you need to do is take any normal food prep knife, cut around the equator of the fruit, twist, and the pit separates from one of the halves. Take the half with the pit and cut perpendicular to the seam, twist, and repeat until all the pieces are off. Works with free-stone and cling-stone fruit. This changed my life, and no special tools or gadgets needed.

@@darlenedavis8690I use loofah that I grow.
I think of Peaches and Herb from the 70’s.
Yo! They were SMOOOOTH as silk! "Reunited and it feels so good!" ❤😂
Peaches and Cream. Group was 112 with Bad Boy Records.
The low tech solution is fine especially with the small clearance with the door
You and Bailey always make us laugh. Very entertaining.

Poor Bailey. Maybe next time give her some ice cubes to eat while you eat a popsicle. Or you could freeze some beef broth for her. Yum!😉
?
I just use a black beanie, and it keeps my head warm in the winter. You can get one for $5.
Best one i had was complimentary, of course it disappeared.
Below the electric? I'm genuinely interested in what you mean.

I have the washer door prop thing. I have to keep the washer door from swinging all the way open, not closed. So I bend it so it hold the door from the outside, keeping it mostly closed.
I LOVE it! Works perfectly and would DEFINITELY but again.
I too was randomly attacked by ninjas in a peach orchard in the 90s.
I was 13 when that song came out. The big rumor going around in school was that it was a metaphor for cunnilingus. The music video was awesome.
So glad you tested the cooling patch! Think it would be great for those of us who are heat sensitive and travel. The watermelon slicer, definitely something for us grandmas. The potatoes brush is just a cute version of a very old tool.
Its a nail brush-which are half the price.
You'd be surprised how little of the US population understands that the fruit they get at the store isn't ripe _and may never actually ripen_
The tater brush is probably a lot easier to hold with the feet between your thumb and index, its for kids so likely is just about right.
The pizza tool is also for french bread thus the serrate knife side and actually makes a surprisingly good tool for handling thin steaks on the grill and large garlic bread slices. It might actually be a better outside tool for cookouts, chopping roast veggies and the like.
That cooling patch is really popular in Japan.
"Goin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches..."
The Presidents of the United States of America. I reference that song way too often.
Very satisfying clicking sounds on the Grocery Bag Dispenser at 20:20 🙂👍
I LOVE these longer videos James!!! Dude, I would have had that entire watermelon eaten as well, LOL!!! Awesome video as always!! I will be back later to catch up.
Glad you enjoy the longer format. And that watermelon is almost gone! haha
That's the proper way! 😀👍
For the washing machine door prop, I would put the magnet where you had it. But areas of double folding the wire inside the door, wrap it around the outside of the door. The magnet will keep the door from closing and the wire portion will keep the door from opening wider than you want
The song from the 90s is: Presidents of the United States of America - peaches
I bought the sleep masks and love them. My sleep has improved so much. Thank you for the suggestion.
If you want instant cooling, put a little tiger balm on the back of your neck. It will cool your body down instantly!
POTUS is my favorite band of all time, I was introduced to them through Peaches!
Immediately thought of the 112 song. 😂
The bekool patches are awesome.
I put them on my sons back when he has a fever and they work great for him.
I always look forward to your uploads on the weekends, feels like hanging with my buddie discussing things i should or shouldnt buy ❤ thank you
As someone who loves pizza and worked in the industry for 10 years, I was cringing 😬 .
The thermal imagery on the back of your head almost looked like an MRI. You need skull insulation. 😉🍺
It only works on Free Stone peaches. Not Cling Peaches.
Love seeing you wear the UV sleeves with your tshirts!
your longer videos are my favorite ones :) please keep them coming
🍕🤤
Not really true or else the end on it would taper down to a point more. Plus there is no need for the clamp to do a single slice, unless it were a much larger pizza but then it wouldn't extend under the pie enough and it would bend in half when you lifted it.
Can we just talk about the very odd sawing motion of him using a pizza wheel.
You are supposed to put pressure and make one forward motion, then make a backward motion. Not saw it in tiny strokes
@@magnit3 I don’t even bother cutting it; I just eat it like a cave-dude
What's a pizza peel?? I think this would be very useful to remove a pizza from the oven and quick transfer to a plate.

I don't need that trash bag holder because my plastic trash bags I get from the store I reuse them for trash😂

Bailey isn't staring, she's supervising 😅
You forgot to say the storage container is UGLY! All those holes that allow it to bend also let the unsightly bags poke through. Ugh.

Hey James, Try not pushing the peach so far down the peach pitter. That’s why there’s a “V” shape. If it’s down further than the diameter of the long edge of the pit, it won’t budge. So pull it up a bit and try again.
Can u stick that cooling thing on soda can and keep it cool as well? 😆

Can also use bone broth, not broth with onion and stuff, just plain. You can buy those ice pop bags cheap. Bailey deserves some!
I should make some popsicles for my friends new pup.
Before he passed his older dog absolutely loved ice. I was on a bit of a scow cone kick so I brought my ice shaver over & made him his own unflavored snow cones. Max would eat an entire pile of just shaved ice.
But maybe I'll cheat & use some pulverized canned dog food just to see if Peanut likes it first.
that peach pitter looks dangerous. Kitchen knife skills are good to know :)
