- Williams and Ree perform "Running Bear" live at the World Theater in Minneapolis, MN sometime in the early 1990s. TVproductions of Brookings, SD has the copyright. This aired on South Dakota Public TV during one of their membership pledge drives.
I posted this dumb video purely to test out some things with a VHS tape digitizing/ingest workflow, and somehow...20,000+ views? Really?
You should go check out Williams & Ree's actual official RUclips channel, which they actually update and manage. Go give them your views: / @williamsandree1 - Приколы
My dad went to school with them and saw their career take off. We kids were raised listening to them and had the pleasure of knowing them off stage when they were in the area.

Been listening to Williams and Ree since the mid 80s! The best!
I loved watching these two guys in the horseshoe bar at Harvey's Tahoe in another life.
Used to go see these guys at the Commercial Hotel in Elko Nv. in the early 80's
Thanks for posting This "dumb" video. I have missed these guys. Used to watch on TNN
Love this song since I was a little girl.!!! I was able to share it with my son that's 7. Both my son's love this song as well.!!!
Loved their PBS movie as a kid.
Saw them at the Elma fair around 1985. I was around 13 years old and laughed so hard I almost wet myself. Still hilarious. Ding dong song is still one of the best.
they performed in The Hoostefest in Minot ND in the early 2000 and were funny as ever!!!
pc not practiced here, two thumbs up
Played the Mystic Lake casino at the same time as these guys (many moons ago). They were in the big room, while we were window dressing. We did share the break room. And there were never any nicer guys in the world, and as you could guess, a lot of fun. In my waning years, I really miss that stuff.
I got to see them in Gillette, WY of all places. LOL best show so much fun.
Awesome video A plus so funny show.
Saw them at BIG VALLEY in Camrose, Alberta...FANTASTIC...
We saw you in Milwaukee WI. What a awesome show. Wish you were still around Wi.
I just recently saw these guys at the Clearwater River Casino in Lewiston, Idaho. Funny as F(:

IIRC they got their start in Sioux Falls, SD in the lounge of the Downtown Holiday Inn in in the late 70's. One of their many talents was making fun of former governors of South Dakota and Minnesota...hilarious stuff. Two of kind and NO political correctness allowed.!! This segment is pretty mellow.
Coming to Phoenix in two weeks!! I'll be there!
Lease two are so DAM FUNNY
I have been watching these two clowns ever since they dused to be on Ralph Emorys Nashville now program
awesome video
I loved them on Country Kitchen (Florence Henderson's show on TNN). My favorite was when they did the afternoon movie blurb starring a bunch of famous people and "(Name) the (Silly Adjective Animal)"
LMAO!!!🤣.
I love the way they sang this song
This is how you entertain.
@UKAirsoftGuy The origional song was written by J.P. the big bopper Richardson and made famous by Johnny Preston
The Indian and the White Guy!!!
That is SO. DAMN. FUNNY!
Very pretty Indian maiden flowing hair
The Chief her father named Running Bear
Braves run away bare that father did scare
One brave stood his ground with a stare
And Running Bear Declared them a pair
One greatest video I have this video so funny. Thank you for coming to Mystic Lake Casnio. Last week. I had wonderful time. Love song at the end show. Do have on cd love buy it. Try save money next time see you next year. I even told ticket office 100% great show. I enjoy both you so funny. I guess why my family enjoy show so many times . I did watch on TNN Nashville network . Sad gone. Was great. Show. Both are great team. So funny. I hope come back next year. 2016.
saw them at the Minnesota State Fair in 1989 with June, Robert, Merlin, and Breanne Anderson they took my son Cory and I to the Fair I capitalized fair because it was the fair to go to in that area at that time (the 70'sand 80's I mean) Williams and Ree signed my sons t-shirt for him he was only 5 years old at the time he finally got rid of it when we moved to Atlanta, Ga area he was 14 years old. fairs just don't rate here you can see all the way across to the other end and you don't even have to be standing in the bleachers.
Such funny guys! I wonder what happened to them.

For Johnny’s opening by the band
Bruce goes into "Carry On Wayward Son"... "South Park" did it!
Always funny. Don't dare share it on Fb. I'm sure I would offend someone.
PLEASE VOTE: Whom was better: The Smother Brothers, or William, and Reeves the Indian, and the White Guy? For me it's a tie, but I did get to see William, and Reeves live in person.
oh nice...if see both. bloody noses for all..
@jajohnson7809 i saw them in Sturgis two weeks ago. They still funny
funny guys
God, there funny.
Funny as f..k
Te Ya Canhu
they wrecked that song
This is a travesty of "Running Bear" Are these guys taking the proverbial?
The singing was great, but the antics were childish.
bass player is a dope..annoying.
lostintime86 I agree. My 12 year old nephew is more mature than he is.
His jokes ruined that song
