I adapted for guitar this gorgeous piece by Canadian composer André Gagnon. It was very popular in Japan as it was featured in a documentary movie there [24歳の末期がん / 24-Sai no makki gan]. My wife Taka asked for this to be the music for her photo tribute to our beloved Saba. Originally in Ab Major, I took it down 1/2 step to make use of opens strings on guitar.
We have been blessed with sixteen years of life intertwined with our feline friend [a.k.a. Friendest Friend, a.k.a. No-Thumbs Peanut-Brain, a.k.a. Fuzziest Knees]. He and his sister Uni were born in a box of t-shirts in a garage around the corner here. We had to feed them from a bottle for the first week.
Our healing is to make and share art - Taka with photos, me with music. We hope you enjoy.
