I also love your background Rachel and it sooo good to be able to give ourselves permission to be a bit or a lot wonky 😃 making this slow stitch project so enjoyable. I'm still working in my bunny block, nearly there, think having a month to complete a page is such a great idea. Happy stitching and looking forward to next week 🌹🌹🌹
I’m trying to watch everyone doing this journal of stitching and just watched Jeanette and I’m all out of order but it’s so fun! I love all the pieces you chose to use.this is so interesting to me. I can’t do the hand stitching any more but I really love it. So fun seeing everyone’s ideas. Tfs
Your stitchery pages are stunning. I want to jump into them! Love this current background. Have fun with the remaining stitching on it and I'll be watching for it on Instagram!
beauiful. love the blue stitches and lace add especially. but then again, I LOVE any every thing you create! such an inspiration!!! thanks! .... Hello to future power potential architech artist Lu Lu!!! love!
Beautiful background! I'm just finishing up my January bunny block but it will be fun pulling out my neutrals and getting ready for this month's project! I am so happy it is one block a month! I wouldn't be able to do more than that! As you see, I'm not quite done with last month's yet! lol I enjoy going at a slower pace! Having fun and totally enjoying this project! Thanks for sharing and putting it together for us!
Hello Rachel, thanks for showing the Neutral palettes on Pinterest, it made me use a little more colour in my background. I'm so loving this project. Hugs Susanna xx ♥️🧵🪡
After years of being an Artist, yes I finally call myself an Artist! I've learned there is no such thing as Perfect, Art tells us what it wants to be. We might have a plan, but the final product is from the Soul.
Hi Rachel, I just love your background muted colours - they’re so restful. Our teacher in one of the exercises in a watercolour class was to choose a card from the paint section at Bunnings showing various shades of their interior colours. It was so helpful and interesting and amazing results.
Great prompts. Love the way your background has come together. The little piece of fabric is a lovely addition. Looking forward to collecting my bits of fabric and making a start tomorrow. Had an operation on my foot so laid up for 6 weeks and the this protect has been a great distraction for me. Thank you and Sarah so much. Xx
Love how your background came together. Looking forward to the composition video. You and Sarah do such good videos providing great ideas and Inspiration Long live wonkie!!!! Donna in Kentucky
Hi Rachel! Love your Neutral fabrics, especially the toile! So lovely! I love your choice of blue threads to begin your stitching on this months block. Blue is a favorite of mine too. I'm anxious to see where your February block goes. I think fancy flowers are going to be awesome! I'm going to see Sarahs video now. Happy Creating! Samantha
I'm so enjoying the relaxed pace of this challenge. I like to take my time and think through options instead of rushing to get something done, so this is perfect for me!
Love your neutral background, and what you did with the dotted and lovely old lace bits. Looked forward to this video ALL WEEK, and am excited to see what I can find in my stash that fits the "neutrals" parameter for the background. Just so loving this monthly challenge. You and Sarah are the best! Such totally different approaches, which makes the videos so good. Thank you for this.
Love your background Rachel! Just beautiful. Really looking forward to seeing the block come together. I have a sleepless night ahead of me now that the prompts have been revealed as my mind is racing with ideas. Thanks for a wonderful project. Xx

Your fabric choices are beautiful …I’m behind on journal construction …maybe I can try this in the fall…anyway your stitchery example page is divine and that bunny I just love it all🥰
Looking forward to trying the neutral background with some of my vintage cloths and lace. I would love to see your tea and coffee dye techniques Rachel.
@@roxycreations679 & Lucille Cash, I would like to see Rachel's coffee/tea dying techniques also. I have some white fabric that needs a little help and that is what I'd like to do with it! Then I could possibly incorporate it in my background composition for this month. I haven't watched any tutorial on it yet. I have seen some others use a spray bottle to do it. Do you like that method Rachel? What works best for you? TFS Please reply.
Thank you for the discussion on neutrals. 😊💜Pale blues and whites flashed into my head when I thought about neutrals. I have also thought of denim as a neutral. Could be my Montana/Texas background. 😏🤣😂 Love your background! I really enjoy your thought processes.😊💜
Great background. Thanks for the inspiration. That gorgeous piece of lace that looks like a fancy doily could be a flower. This month’s theme is fancy flowers. Just a thought.
