Hi Tony, I've recently discovered your channel and your teaching methods. I wandered wether I could ask you for an advice on playing style and improvisation.
Put your arm and hand straight in front of you with fingers straight. . bend your fingers from the 1st joint to make a hook. then bend from the knuckles to make a fist. gently keep repeating this. (this is what I was told to do when I had tendon surgery. - was good for me).
Loving the tutorials, thanks so much!! Wish i could use the play along tracks but i play on a 1970s Wurlitzer and when i got it my piano tuner told me due to the age of the strings he was a little nervous about taking them up to pitch in case they snapped (there are a couple he spotted that have been replaced) so he kinda tuned it "to itself" so to speak. It has a cool sound to it being tuned down a quarter of a step but makes it awfully annoying to play alongside anything 🤪

Tony, what happened to your hand? tell us the truth did you set the wife up with a right jab and follow up with the left cross is that’s where you hurt your hand?
