I first saw Ladyva when was approached by Brendon Kavanagh. Whilst he is, without doubt, an EXTREMELY good exponent of Boogie Woogie, and indeed, is simply a very very Pianist, I have "gone off him". I feel that he tends to be too much of a "show off", and at times is even selfish.
I really enjoy watching Ladyva more, and so to HER, thank you for sharing, and keep playing, thereby giving PIANO LOVERS sheer joy through your TALENT.
My wife taught piano since she was 9. I been around piano . Music for nearly 70 years...this young lady truly can make a piano talk....keep it up.
She sure is a piano wizard. God gifted, extremely talented individual who plays the piano like ringing a bell. Keep up the great work and entertain the world with your lovely boogie woogie medley.
Ladyva is the Boogie-Woogie Queen and Brendan Kavanagh is the Boogie Woogie King no doubt about that.
Once again I find my self enjoying a afternoon with Ladyva , never gets old something magic in that boogie sound

Bruce here ; She does very good improvisation while maintaining that good solid Boogie beat , very easy to listen too. l never get tired of a good Boogie piano.
All she played here are music pieces no improvisation. I heard her live and can say so.
There are several superb performers of Boogie-Woogie, but Ladyva has such a melodic sound that is never harsh, so she stands out in a class of her own.
I try to explain why I think she's better than most I have ever heard. I have compared and she just is. Her touch, timing, accuracy at speed etc and I cant even explain it. But she just sounds so good. I have listened to the exact same pieces played by other very well knows pianists but its not the same. And your comment also helps to pin point it a bit better.
I agree. There are many world class players, even Axel himself, but not many if any with the touch and feel of Ladyva.
i agree with you all guys. and someone's observation here, she plays like a bell, that hits it. while some guys, good and absolutely great, play hammering the keys like with a hammer and an axe, she caresses the keys like bells. or just flowing water
She's got nano second timing, she's unreal! Perhaps she's a robot? LOL!

the notes don't sound to BANG )NOTE( as some note do when the keys are pressed ''rather enthusiastically'' or words to that effect ;) she has only gotten BETTER since ''way back then (this vid) too!!!'' :)
When you come across a piano on a railway platform and one on a stage the performance is still first class.
She has become one of my favorites!
