So far the Cares Act has been signed into law by President Trump, the House of Representatives and the Senate. Congress proposed the stimulus checks and stimulus packages in March.

Right! And they have been saying it will happen since early summer, which I believed using my savings to get by. Now it's little unemployment and crying to anyone that will hear. We should all thank our government for the scam virus and scaring us like its a plague.

I worked all my life, but in the state of NH where the minimum wage has not gone up for a long, long time. It is 7.25 dollars an hr! Now because of that, I have not made any substantial money, hence the SSDI amount is not anything substantial to live on! My point is, a person has to work part time to make ends meet. If you do and lose your employment for whatever the reason and have to rely only on SSDI, then you need help because we are poverty level!! We the low income need help EVERY month to survive! This is down right criminal what the politicians are doing to us!!

Groundhog day with a twist . I think what ever this covid is is affected everyone already . And is making them loose there mental . It doesn't make any sense for them to prolong relief . In the beginning they got it done . And it was in no comparison as bad is it is present day . And I'm to the point of .🤯🤕💯 I have not had a great life but I've had one . I was on the street for 15 years when I was twelve years old I started doing methamphetamines I've been clean since July 5 2019 because of a wonderful program sshh . I started work for FedEx ground . And I was feeling like a real normal person then in the midst of my new beginning came covid . My point is. I have done drugs my whole life and still have my sanity . But the pandemic has been hear for less than a year and every one has went crazy like the stayed up way to many days tweeked out .

This is about able-bodied people who can’t work because the small businesses that they worked at have been closed by no fault of their own. This is about people who have ALWAYS worked to build a life of their own. This is the backbone of our society and economy: wait staff, line cooks, bartenders, movie theatre workers, Broadway type productions and its workers, owners of bars, cafes any child-related retail store or family entertainment centers. The list is endless. That is what I am talking about.

We need the stimulus, for seniors solely on SSI as the costs of food alone, is skyrocketing and not covered in the cola for 2021.
Right my social security is going to go up 12 whole dollars a month my food bill alone has gone up probably $100 or more a month
I agree. The cola is not much since the deduction for Medicare went up as well from 144.00 to 148.50. I have noticed as well the huge increase in the cost of food.

I’ve lost my business that’s been in my family for generations. We had to walk away with all the appliances, tables, etc because we couldn’t get a single month of rent paid for, nor would any banks give us any type of loan. I’m going to feel like the biggest failure when Christmas hits. I have 3 sons. I’m not a bad man, I just have bad luck. Thanks for always cheering me up.

I think stimulus checks are necessary...for our family personally we have lost hours, still employed but a loss of ten hours a pay check hits hard. I think a lot of Americans are feeling this type of problem. So checks would be much appreciated. Thank you to the senators that are speaking up for us!!

I am so beside myself. So many people are suffering and it is taking a huge toll on us. It is so easy for those who aren't experiencing the same strain, are delaying relief efforts for small businesses, the people, etc.
