While I think J.D. Vance was a great choice, I also think President Trump missed a great opportunity by not making Tulsi his VEEP candidate. She is smart, articulate and has movie star good looks. To the extent that presidential politics has become a popularity contest, instead of a contest of ideas and policies, Tulsi would win that part of it easily. But beyond that, if she were nominated as the Presidential candidate in 2028, the first woman POTUS would be a Republican and a moderate. Not a Democrat and wacko extreme leftist. It´s going to take at least 12 years to modernize the Federal government, bring it into the 21st century, right size it (limit it) and turn it away from this endless obsession of never-ending expansion and taking on tasks for which government is neither suited nor authorized. Hopefully, Mr. Trump will win bigly in November and the American people will send him back to Washington with a major mandate and majorities in both houses to carry it out. Hopefully Mr. Trump will then begin the process of draining the swamp, as he calls it. To me this means, balancing the budget, ending this out of control spending, cutting the Federal bureaucracy in half, trashing the idiotic 6800 page tax code and replacing it with something flatter, fairer and simpler, say 50 pages, reforming entitlements, strengthening the military, closing the border, promoting energy independence and strengthening the private sector, to name just a few priorities. This is gonna take a lot more than 4 years. If Tulsi were VEEP, she would be ideally suited to assume the mantle and carry on the work. Oh well, I guess she always try to run again on her own.

To me this means, balancing the budget, ending this out of control spending, cutting the Federal bureaucracy in half, trashing the idiotic 6800 page tax code and replacing it with something flatter, fairer and simpler, say 50 pages, reforming entitlements, strengthening the military, closing the border, promoting energy independence and strengthening the private sector, to name just a few priorities. This is gonna take a lot more than 4 years. If Tulsi were VEEP, she would be ideally suited to assume the mantle and carry on the work. Oh well, I guess she always try to run again on her own.

I donated to her Presidential Bid to see her on the debate stage with regret now. If she is so against warmongers why does she favor them like Putin the worst of them all and join the Republican Party that contributed to her divorce.

I too have left the Democratic party. I am just a voter and have always voted for the candidate I liked no matter what party they were with. Now since the power aspect has become the primary focus of the Democratic party, I will not vote for a Democrat even if they are running alone.

I'm glad that she has "seen the light" and welcome her into the Republican Party. We don't all have to believe the same way, but we must show respect for the USA and our standing in the world. It seems to me that the Democrats in power hate the USA, hate the Constitution, and hate anything or anybody that stands in the way of their control. Tulsi recognizes that and I admire her courage. I think she is a great addition to the Trump Team, along with Elon Musk and Robert Kennedy, Jr.

I see Tulsi as the only one deserving in the current political dispensation that truly deserves to be the President of the US. She has age on her side, the wisdom, the experience, the calm and composure, the values, integrity, patriotism.. you name it. What she does not have unfortunately is luck and support of the parties she is in. I guess people dont like a smart independent woman to be taking on a role in the mainstream.
