Cosmic Brushes really have something special going on with their palettes. Amazing quality for a reasonable price!? Great color stories, not too many releases in a year. What more could we ask for!? 🎉
You mentioned that you thought the fresh prince of Belair color story was redundant in the Glamlite palette selection. I agree with you BUT I think that that redundancy is SO common now, across many brands because they are just producing so many eye shadow palettes!

i’m actually happy to see the natasha denona golden palette rate so high. i felt like a lot of people shamed this palette saying ‘another neutral that wasn’t needed’, but like… all her neutrals so far have been very pink leaning, or focused on being more cool-toned like glam. i’m neutral toned, but i suit warm tones better, because of my severe dark circles & i admit chronic illness which shows on my face & coloring a lot, haha. pinks & purples look horrible on me, and so blue. teals tend to be terrible because they lean into the blue more than the green. so this was the neutral palette finally for someone like me, the others did not work for me at all when i swatched them.
I agree. This neutral was needed. I have the glam midi, the large biba, the glam face and the I need a nude palettes. As beautiful as they all are, this one by far suits my warm neutral, tan deep skin tone the best. If I could only have one nd palette this would be it.

It was also a little lighter which many people appreciated since her color stories can be very saturated & skew med to dark. I woudn't use the greens in the OG gold palette, but I could use all the shades in the new gold palette if I purchased it.

I love the one size oil sucker. I have been using it every day since it came out. It truly kept my makeup matte. It is the best mattifying primer I have tried, and the matte finish lasts all day (8 -10 hours day). I realized it works best with foundation that is liquidy, like Dior backstage face and body foundation. Creamy foundation can be hard to blend with oil sucker primer.
OMGoodness you really nailed my feelings about the Nomad palette. I couldn't make sense of the color story just looking at it as it's laid out but then looking at it swatched, it's actually really pretty. It's totally the layout of colors on top of that stark black background.
The elf foundation works well for me I’ve normal skin but think the Texas heat and humidity are a factor as well, I don’t have heat here it’s max 23 in summer so it mightn’t work for me either outside of Ireland! Hope you’re having a break holiday in Italy!!

I absolutely love the Crow palette, it's 100% my kind of color story and I love the theming, but the creasing is very disappointing, and it happens with every single shimmer in the palette for me even with a very drying primer and glitter glue. With some touch-ups throughout the day it's fine, but for people with even slightly hooded eyes it's definitely something to consider, especially if buying from outside of the US like me.

Amazing how one product doesn’t work for one n its the best for others… I looooooooove the elf foundation. I have normal type sometimes shinny tzone. This foundation looks so pretty on my skin. I’ve gotten compliments on it every time I wear it. I even wore it to a wedding that went on til 2am n it was still on n looked good 🤩
I feel the same way about the o/s primer! I bought it after you first mentioned it, I usually wait for your full review (like this) but was desperate to try it because I’m so oily lol. I’m in love with it!

Its unfortunate that you had that experience with the ELF foundation. I have had the polar opposite experience with it. It doesnt look dewy on my skin at all and it lasts all day. I do have dry skin, but live in an extremely humid climate.

@@Jess-bee ELF Satin glow arrived this morning and I've started a wear test.
The texture is not watery or mousse-like, but a comfy, slippy like oil (my guess is from the glycerin no actual oils) but not suffocating-your-skin oily.
Very comfy on the face, the foundation has decent blend-in time, no need to powder or set.

I think it is nice to have brands that don't focus on putting extremely light/ashy shades in most of their palettes.. That means people with medium deep to deep skin tones can have palettes where they can use most if not all of the shades.. It is really frustrating when you have a deeper complexion and half of the palette is too ashy for you.. Yes you can use them in some capacity but it is nice to not have a lot of them! And there are other brands that focus on ensuring to put light shades in their palettes so it is nice to have a blanance with brands that dont😊
Hi! I love the Charlotte tilbury unreal foundation stick. It give the most ethereal look to the skin. Such a great find for me! Oh and also I love the huda liquid blush also, what a great formula, becomes second skin.
foundation sticks are definitely the new trend, other than Ilia, Charlotte Tilbury, ABH and dior also released sticks. I am not a fan of sticks as I find them waxy, but I do like them for cream contours.

I did a first impressions with the Elf foundation, and I hated it so bad! It separated on my skin right away and made my skin look soooooo dry! Was so annoyed haha.

I need a good bone colored matte honestly. I don't think I'll buy the entire golden palette for it, but i do not have a great quality bone colored matte. My eyelids are very veiny so i have to cover them. If i just use foundation or concealer it's a creasy mess. I wish i had that matte just to cover my lids when i do not want eyeshadow really.
I have eyelids like yours I use Maybelline colour tattoo eye Stix in I am courageous it’s a Matt white tan and Omg it fixes everything!!!
Have you ever tried the Wet n Wild single matte in Brûlée? They also have a more cool toned colour too. For under $3.00 it’s worth trying. I have high end and drugstore shadows both and it’s such a good basic shadow to use when your palette doesn’t have a light basic shade
I have oily skin and I adore the oil sucker primer as well. I can literally throw away all my other primers now.

Great vid as always 🎉you look amazing 🤩 Let me say the One Size Oil Sucker does everything it says just follow instructions and I am very sweaty 🥵 fave and it handles that problem so good even great Best Primer I’ve ever used especially for my sweaty 😅 face no other primer has been able to do 😅so yes it’s very good for those sweaty face people i recommend it, because it’s that good and I have every primer out there and none hold up to this primer 🎊

The Oil Sucker might just be what I have been searching for ever since I started my makeup journey because I have extreme oily tzone. Do U think I can use it as an eyelid primer?
Oh I dont know, I dont have oily lids. But maybe as a primer underneath your normal eye primer?

Yeah if the batch is fresh the glue smell could still linger, for me that disappears pretty quickly :)
I'm a sweaty bitch. If it does does work, i might need it. Unfortunately i have like dry skin or peeling skin bits all over my face. It's undetectable until i have certain makeup on. I do exfoliate regularly, maybe too much? Idk I'm seeing a dermatologist soon.
