Tyranids don't have gunpowder based firearms. However they do have bioweapons that can launch spines, flesh eating space beetles, poisons, etc. Everything with them, even their starships, are biological.
Tyranids are a pretty cool faction. They are the main antagonist of the 40k universe alongside chaos but at the same time they are the only ones that are not inherently evil. They are just hungry. Everything about them is biological, their weapons and spaceships included. They also evolve really, really fast. The hive mind basically adapts to anything you throw at them in a short period of time and change the whole strategy to counter your move. What you see in this game is a splinter fleet, basically a few big bugs separated from their main fleet. A whole invasion of Tyranids can eat entire solar systems in weeks.
Choosing veteran at the very start is a pro gamer move! You're gonna have a blast with this game and Warhammer 40k in general. I hope they make a Sister of Battle story DLC down the line
if you like Classic RPGs, play Rogue Trader, especially if you want a game that explains the lore on a surface level. "I dont like reading." Nevermind.
It does say 'common' attacks and attacks with a blue indicator can be parried, it just doesn't really say that 'common' actually means EVERY melee attack that isn't explicitly unblockable can be parried and perfect parried, so get the timing down and dopamine and damage go through the roof. Also blue/red indicated attacks will also appear in a projection around your legs with an arrow saying where from, helps for off-screen attacks, there's also an audio cue. And shoot the barrels and throw grenades, even if you're on top of one.
Yes that was tricky to figure out, I noticed it way later it’s a good reminder about the parrying of common attacks I’ll try not to forget because I’m playing too many games at once 😆 I appreciate all of your good tips thank you
18:55 They actually dont use guns... Those weapons tyranid biomorphs, bugs that if i understand right when stimulated shoot out even smaller bugs tho i confess im not sure about the mini-bugs, i read that part from another video's comment lol
I’m a always scared that my voice would be a bit annoying if it’s louder but I guess that’s true I need to make my mic a bit louder, you’re not the first person to notice that I turned the volume down
@@foxydragongaming I'm with you there, I would love to know the actual amount of hours I dumped into Fallout4 lol But the operations in SM2 go hand-in-hand with the campaign and play like an extension of it, so you might really enjoy them!
I was so surprised when youtube recommended me to watch this and I recognised you from another platform. Great video, and thanks for all the fantasies you have satisfied many times for many years

No, I don’t like reading out loud because English is not my first language, not “I don’t like reading”

This is super late, but I think 40k would fall under the “Dieselpunk” category
