Gentaro was scolded for eating the food that Momotaro was aiming for.
After that, Gentaro goes to show the wounds to the zookeeper and his mother.
The zookeeper kindly talked to him, and Genki kindly looked at his wounds.
⚠️ ⭐️ Due to the spread of coronavirus(COVID-19) infection, Kyoto City Zoo will be closed again from August 23rd to September 12th today.
The closed period may be extended depending on the situation.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

もう人間以上に人間らしい
なにこの家族！可愛すぎ。お母さん言葉がなくとも「んもう！わかったから大丈夫大丈夫！」って聞こえる。
「大丈夫大丈夫！すぐ治るわよっ😇」と、頭をポンっと軽くたたくママがもう人間にしか見えない！！びっくりしました😊

子供が母親に怪我見せてる間、少し離れたところで申し訳なさそうにしてるように見えるお父さんがすごく可愛い☺️
言葉はなくても完全に会話してますね。言いつけに来るの可愛すぎ😍

飼育員さんが優しい。丁寧に話を聞いてあげて優しく触って慰めてあげている。信頼関係がすごい。
ゲンタロウは真剣に「怪我をした！」って訴えているのに、飼育員さんは笑いながら話を聞いてあげてて、お母さんも呆れ顔で話を聞いてあげてるの優しいw
It's wonderful Gentaro gets lots of sympathy for his wounds from the zoo keeper and Genki. Then it seems Genki says 'Yes, you'll be alright - off you go.'
飼育員さんもそうだけど、お母さんにも見せてるの可愛い❤
これって見てもらったら「痛かったねー」って共感してもらえるって期待してるってことですよね。凄い知能高いし、素晴らしい精神活動じゃないですか。そして実際共感してるようだし。いや、「痛かったねー」だけじゃなく「怖かったねー」も共感していますね。
本当に人間の子供と同じだし、ママも子供の傷を見てあげるんですね。

人間の子供もそうだけど、このくらいの時期は無条件にかわいい。
父親が、厳しくする、子供は順番守る、年長者に敬意を持つ。子供には心から甘えて頼れる存在がいる。ゴリラ🦍の家族には見習いたい素敵な事がたくさんある。

After Mom does her compassionate inspection off Gentaro’s wounds her expression is of any mothers: “You’ll be fine son, it’s not as bad as it could’ve been.” She even goes as far as to roll her eyes and tap him on his head when he continues to seek more sympathy from mom😍. I find her facial expressions to be exactly as any human mothers when her children make more to the situation than necessary😌 Throughout the entire encounter Genki shows her son the complete devotion of a mothers Love❤️ Amazing how closely exact we two species are identically the same in so very many situations.

He does love them, let’s not forget he was cared for by keepers for a while as he was a sick baby, I’m not sure how long it was but it does change a gorillas trust in humans, meaning he has a greater connection than say Momo had at Gentaro’s age.

That was one of the cutest and sweetest things I have seen. It reminded me of when I was small and cried mommy I have an owy. He just wanted his wounds to be acknowledged. That family is more human than a lot of families I know. And they are well taken care of. The zoo keeper was so kind to him comforting him. I just love this gorilla family.

Aww 💕 Gentaro has a boo boo that he has to show to his favourite Zookeeper. She is so loving, including stroking his sweet face. If she could have put a Boo Boo Bandaid on for him she would have. Genki would have too. Momo kept having a guilty quick side glance to check out the aftermath.

Gorillas are so human like in their behaviour.
I don't know what Gentaro did to get his punishment, but it was very sweet how he was showing his "wounds ' to the vet and later to his mummy. 😍. He got some mummy love and reassurance. They're such gentle animals I really don't understand why anyone would want to do them harm. They speak a lot with their eyes.

Gentaro is such a ham. Momo just screeched and ran half speed after him. Momo was just laying down the law not trying to hurt him. When Gentaro got that "I'm telling" look on his face, we all knew what was coming. First he went to Me. Hina, then mom to show his battlescars----every scar since the day he was born! 😊😊😊 Boy he milked those scratches for all they were worth. Even Big Momo looked at them near the end of the video. Gentaro smiling at the end after he was sure everyone saw his booboos was to die for. What a character!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
