Ive had my 2 Tascam 16-08's for about 10 years. I love them but you really have to have a screaming fast computer to handle many simultaneous inputs if recording all at once. That's not the Tascam's fault but I'm going to dedicate one of my Tascams to go directly to a 1/4 inch tape machine. So glad I held onto the 2nd Tascam as I'm moving away from DAW.

Did you have any problems connecting the Tascam interface to your Macbook?

I did not - it was just as simple as plugging it in. Make sure you are running the latest IOS

Hi, I have the same, but when i Connect my tascam and I try to record, I havent signal in garage band.. I have try with MIC and guitare and nothing.. I dont understand why ? Maybe i need to upload driver ?
