Let Me tell you how, and when I first heard the Tiny Bubbles song. I was a young man on R and R from VN. While walking around and exploring the sites of Hawaii, I walked into this club for a drink, while at the table a man walked in all dressed in white and announced He was Don Ho .He than ask for a show of hands to all on R and R, several of us raised our hands He then said all drinks and their food free for them and their guests. He started singing Tiny Bubbles. During the song women started moving to join us at our table. What a nite to remember. The next day flew back to VN,

Hw was small shorter than me less than 5ft tall I am 5'2 inches tall and Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho was a popular song at that time so I called him Tiny Bubbles that was my nickname for him,so this song is very memorable to me

This song came up, of all places, this morning at the Veteran's Hospital!! Hubby was at the Eye Doctor, and they had put something in, a month or so ago to help heal his detached retina. And it had now shrunk to a very small size... So, the Doctor was an older guy, and as he looked in Ric's eye, said, "It's a tiny bubble.." And I started humming, "Tiny bubbles, in the wine.." And everybody in the room cracked up. Great memory. I think even Don Ho would have chuckled. Aloha!!!

When one of my best friends lost her mom, I had this strange urge to send her this version of Tiny Bubbles. I even stated to her in the text, “I have no idea, but I felt the urge to send you this link to Tiny Bubbles.” She called me in tears, as this was her mom and dads wedding song and she herself went to Hawaii with her parents and saw him. She was only 5 years old at the time. She remembered it so clearly.
It was her mothers way of sending her love to her from heaven.
I just lost my friend a month ago, we hadn’t spoken for awhile. I woke up to this song playing in my head one morning. I remember saying to myself, “why am I hearing this song?, the last time I heard this song was when I sent it to Monique.” I decided to look at my old fb account and saw that she gained her wings and is with her mom and dad now.
    Love you Monique

I've loved this song since I was a little girl. I remember Don Ho preforming on the Mike Douglas Show singing this, and on the Brady Bunch. I can't remember all of the words to any song, just the repeat lines. I was stocking mini snow globes at work, singing Tiny Bubbles, and saying I wish I knew all of the words. Fifteen years ago, my lead, 20 years younger than me, a Hawaiian started singing the song all the way thru. He might not have been Don Ho, but I had an actual Hawaiian sing this to me. 😊 I told him I thought he was too young to know that song, but I'm so glad he did. He left theme park work to become a firefighter. May Pele protect him always.
    Tiny bubbles...🍾🥂

What a timeless classic! Don Ho was the first celebrity I met. I lived for a year in Honolulu around age eight and got to talk with him a little and shake his hand after seeing his set. He was a very nice guy!

My grandmother had one of his albums and I used to want to listen to it when we would visit. She had loads of records, all good ones. I grew up hearing the old classics. I wished I had her collection now.

My grandmother just passed away of bubonic plague. Granny always loved this song, which was originally written a while ago, although the lyrics have not changed much. "Tiny bubos on your skin make you feel itchy and bitchy as sin, tiny bubos make you hurt all over with a feelin' that you're gonna soon be runnin' out of time" - Donatelli Hotep Jesus, 1348

My kittens are so fascinated by fizzy juice I sing this to them whenever they go to stare at my glass - I couldn’t remember all the lyrics so came on here to listen properly… I sang along with Don to my tinies and my wee boy immediately started purring. He’s an old soul! 😸

We used to go to t h e Makiki bar in the Holiday Inn for our birthdays. They'd put your name on the Marque and a deejay would play songs. The bday person would sit in a fan chair. It was so fancy. I got to dance with my dad on a dance floor. It was grand.
