When one of my best friends lost her mom, I had this strange urge to send her this version of Tiny Bubbles. My grandmother just passed away of bubonic plague. Granny always loved this song, which was originally written a while ago, although the lyrics have not changed much. "Tiny bubos on your skin make you feel itchy and bitchy as sin, tiny bubos make you hurt all over with a feelin' that you're gonna soon be runnin' out of time" - Donatelli Hotep Jesus, 1348
My kittens are so fascinated by fizzy juice I sing this to them whenever they go to stare at my glass - I couldn’t remember all the lyrics so came on here to listen properly… I sang along with Don to my tinies and my wee boy immediately started purring. He’s an old soul! 😸

Hello how are you
This was my papis favorite song he would sing it all the time and he reasently he passed away and when I heard this it brought a tear to my eye
It’s heartwarming to hear that the young generation were exposed to this song from their grandparents and the memories they have with them.
I love this song very much. Thanks for sharing it with us all.
My kittens are so fascinated by fizzy juice I sing this to them whenever they go to stare at my glass - I couldn’t remember all the lyrics so came on here to listen properly… I sang along with Don to my tinies and my wee boy immediately started purring. He’s an old soul! 😸
My dad used to sing this son when I was a little girl!

My 84 yr old mom used to play this on the record player. As a kid, I loved this song. Thought it was about swimming though. Lol I know better now.
In the early 60s this song was huge hit for Don Ho
This was my favorite song when I was little. My grandmother used to play it for me on the record player.

We used to go to t h e Makiki bar in the Holiday Inn for our birthdays. They'd put your name on the Marque and a deejay would play songs. The bday person would sit in a fan chair. It was so fancy. I got to dance with my dad on a dance floor. It was grand.
Thought this was Deano for years,.....love it 😆
I'm sure a lot of people made that same mistake.
Don't worry, your not the only one listening to this in 2021!
This is way before my time I never heard this song or the guy who sang it back in 1967 a classic song for everybody to hear a happy song
I always loved this song...in my youth...Dean Martin
When I was little, my mother played This All The Time and I used to think he was saying "TIE KNEE STUBBLE'S" 🎵😐
I remember the Don Ho Show when my family and I stayed on Oahu for almost 2 months (entire summer vacation), regular hotel and military, and private military cabins on the beach.
This was a ditty in boot camp. Never heard the actual song until now, took me straight back to 2003.
He really had a nice voice and was very popular. My mom used to watch every TV show he was going to be on. :-)
I remember watching his show every week when it was in syndication during the 70s.
