I installed a set of props from SG906 Beast. No jellow at all and Drone is a nice flyer for the money and I'm impressed by the flight time for a cheap drone like this. I ordered the 3 battery version but guess 2 batteries is enough for 1 hour of fun flight. The SG906 Beast spare props was around 6$ CAD, same blade size.

Really nice review and lovely to see the sea and green :) Visuo has come along way from it's original worthy brushed drones and stepped into the maket to offer something of a much worthy succesor to the original drones with the brushless variety...It's got all the hallmarks of being a decent drone which offers a much longer battery performance compared to others.. so that's great! This would be my third drone I order based on your reviews,started with Bugs 3,Visuo 816 and now this one with 3 batteries. Its going to take a month to get it.

I did not do an actual flight time note taking thing because for accurate result I'd have to recharge the battery at least 5 times before it begins to hold a solid charge/discharge & then fly it at least 3 times and get an average flight time. I will say it felt like more than 25 mins.
I bought the Visuo Zen Mini, it is almost the same as the K1, it night be a lot lighter as it has a smaller battery but it has brushed motors. The Controller is the same too, and it does fly very nicely, almost the same as the SJRC F11, Which I also have. Now I wish I has waited for the K1 with brush-less motors...
I have had one of these since 12/19. Alot of fun and goes far enough to be out of sight. Pretty tough. Ran into the roof, slid down and fell to the ground (concrete). Scrapped up the props, but not serious. However, today I didn't set the gyro. It took off FAST, went behind some trees. CRASHED. Broke off the front "leg". not the whole "arm". Flew it again, it was OK. But where do I get parts? I can find the whole arm and new motor assembly. I just need the leg.. Thanks. I love your reviews. Right on with this drone. Great still pics. One drone battery last almost as long as my phone battery.

I checked the price on Banggood and it's €163.68. With 2 batteries it's €190.96 and with 3 batteries €218.24. I am in Southern Ireland and pay in Euro.
I don't have my prop balancing tools anymore (not for many years). Props today are normally well balanced, but these low cost drones have like 2 cent props on them so they are hit and miss. RUclips has plenty of prop balancing vids.

For a little over $100 this is a fantastic drone, could you do a range or even a range extending vid, as well as maximum altitude flight? I know 400 ft is the ceiling recommended, not sure if its law...but my WL Toys Q303 goes about 800 ft up and I want to get some video from about 1000-1500 ft up. Thank you for excellent content
Much like a lot of people, I would LOVE a second video with a jello-free footage from the drone. I've been eyeing the SJRC F11 pro for quite some time now but I wanted to be patient in case something better came up. I wanted to get a drone to fly and record my brother's wedding at the end of the year but being a student makes it impossible for me to get a DJI or anything close to that price line :/
Get yourself a fimi A3, good 1080p video, with a gimbal, get bang for your buck.….fyi, got a F11 Pro too...great flyer, not so good picture quality.. loads of tube comparison vids out there, do some research m8 atb

That's actually quite nice. One of my first drones was a visuo xs809hw a great starter drone but this new one with the brushless motors, bigger battery, much better range and a whole lot better camera is a BIG improvement and definitely going in the right direction. On cheap inexpensive props it takes effort but you can make an improvement. First thing I would do with these props is put some lubricant so that they enfolded easily, especially when spinning at the multitude of speeds. Second thing I'd do is ensure they two blades are of equal weight.

Nice video...To me it looks a bit more like the Beast drone that also supposedly uses the phone's software to give you some stabilization but at least the Visuo has an onboard SD card. BTW, I couldn't see any diff between stabilized video and non-stabilized video...maybe it was just me. And the jello makes the video completely unacceptable/unusable. Would like to see a video after the props have been balanced to see what it looks like. And as i always ask (and others have asked below as well) what is the actual flight time? I've seen a lot of variation in what is claimed by the drone manufacturer and what you actually get in just normal flying conditions (i.e., cruising around, no crazy wind and not whipping it around like a maniac, etc). Actual flight time is probably one of the most important purchasing decisions. No one wants to buy a drone thinking they'll get 30 minutes and it turns out to be 15 mins or less instead...not saying that the case with the Visuo but I've seen 50% discrepency before. I'm jusssayin.....
So... I'm not a rich guy but i need one good drone... Under $400 Canadian shipped... What can I buy that is best bang for the buck ? 3 or even 2 axis gimbal and at least 1080P would be appreciated ! Thankx for replying !

I don’t think it’s the props that are unbalanced. The camera just wobbles Bcs the drone is shaking just a tiny bit and if u have no gimbal then this is the result like no drone can hold still so good that a camera looks good without a gimbal.
CAPTAIN DRONE I think its just how drones work, I have a non advanced drone without a gimbal and I see the same result with the camera but who knows maybe ur right.
@@YourBassNeeds In any drone, if you take the props off and spin the motors, they will be perfect and not move. Toss on slightly unbalanced props and the entire drone will move. In the old days when I began flying drones, all DJI drones (The PHANTOM 1) had plenty of jello when we added a Gopro to it. The only fix was to balance the props and add a bit of foam to place the camera on. Eventually DJI made future drones in the PHANTOM 2 series that had vibration dampeners under the belly, and then finally they added the gimbal in later drones. But every now and then with the PHANTOM 3 early versions there was Jello and the only fix was to balance the props.
If the props are foldable props, it is much more difficult. if not foldable, then it is a simple balancing act (watch any RUclips video on this to see how it is done). An easier way is to just try replacing the props with newer ones. If foldable props get the slightest bend in them, they will cause vibrations.
What a bummer that even with brushless motors it still has jello. Balancing the props is a pain. They should have added dampening to the camera to offset any vibes. I can see with brushed motors having jello since brushed will naturally create more vibes than brushless but they must have used the cheapest props possible that are poorly balanced as you did mention in the video. Visuo make good toy grade drones so it is a bummer they didn't do more to alleviate any jello.
I’m Grasshopper to the drone hobby and what is amazing is all the many drones to choose from.......lots and lots of choices. I’ve settle for two as a start - jjrc x9 but soon after ordering I saw that the SJRC F11 had more flight time of 25 min so I ordered it shortly after. Once I learn from drones and graduate to CaptainDrone jr, The Long range drones will be the next upgrades. The only thing that makes me nervous is ordering from overseas companies that make customer service uneasy such as no updates of shipping status and if you send an email with questions about your order, it’s like sending a message in a bottle tossed to the sea, you hope that it reaches someone sometime and a reply is sent back. That being said, are there any drone companies based here in the U.S. or at the least reputable sellers or resellers the U.S.?
If you order off AMAZON or EBAY, the drone is more than likely coming from a CHINA distributor. Due to the low cost of drones, you won't find any low cost drones from the US. Now if you want to purchase a $400 and up drone, you can find US stores (even BESTBUY) that will sell them to you.
See you can get a cheap drone with the flow sensor that works as a cam. But my spark which is or was lol 3x the price of this. I wish dji would let us use that camera without hacking it.
Most of these drones are pretty good. But, the novelty is worn off and now we're getting pickey. Overall a decent done for the cost. Overall a decent review from the reviewer ;-)

You can use pretty much anything but I'd probably just use a silicone spray
Go and get a set of spare props for SG906 Beast, they have the same blade size but they are are way better out of the bag.
Amazon: $142 drone w/ remote and battery . $230 drone w/ two batteries, remote, and case.
Around $200 Canadian.

See you can get a cheap drone with the flow sensor that works as a cam. But my spark which is or was lol 3x the price of this. I wish dji would let us use that camera without hacking it.
Most of these drones are pretty good. But, the novelty is worn off and now we're getting pickey. Overall a decent done for the cost. Overall a decent review from the reviewer ;-)
