I have always been a huge fan of the Visuo drone series. They are generally durable drones that do exactly what they advertise without any problems in my experience 3 times so far. From the original visuo, to the battle sharks visuo, to the GPS visuo, they've always done a great job on their toys. This Zen K1 is a disaster. $150 for the bare minimum and the video footage is a bowl full of jello. Waypoints worked with the Visuo GPS, so why doesn't it work for this one? Just disappointing. I have had this since the beginning of August shame they rushed this out instead of fixing all the issues I have the version 1 of sjrc f11 far more stable than the zen k1 thanks for reviewing the zen 😁👍👍
Put another $40 to it and get a Fimi a3. For that you get a gimble and a very capable drone. In my opinion it’s better value than the hubsan zino which has a 4K camera but is slightly more expensive than the Fimi.
I think dji mavic mini is a better drone for the money its cheap for what you get you got one for 399 I got videos in my channel made with the mini that its mind blowing for the price it is
howzit, I just pushed the zen k1 to it limits. For some reason I just had very good signal and the copter did not go further after having reached H=100m D=600m. Than the controller starts beeping non stop, if I pull back to D=596m it stops beeping. Conclusion: the zen k1 has a set limit of H=100m D=600m
Nice review, nice drone. Would be good for someone’s first drone to learn to fly. Everything looks like it works. Quite a bit of jello on yours but I’ve seen other reviews with not as much jello. Visuo generally makes good stuff. 👍
One to avoid I believe. We've got the XS812 which is brilliant for a first timer, The GPS on it is exceptional and although not fantastic when it comes to video for a beginner to learn how to fly and use the camera I haven't seen any review which does nothing but praise this little drone
Terrible..Visuo really blew this one. Was so hoping it would be cool. Anyone that suggests this is good is not going to make things better. They need to recall this or at least hear from folks how bad it is. And I've seen plenty of reviews on this one, shame. RE: Compass Calibration for every GPS Drone. I have a couple of 3DR Solo's, and once it is calibrated, I have never had to do it again. Any thoughts on that, Quadcopter 101?
Yesterday I got my Visuo Zen K1 and unfortunately for not being careful I crash it a light pull and landed in grass, luckily turns on and camera works but it wont take off the motors spins then goes off and even pressing up off course the motors goes off. First I thought maybe the propellers so i changed them and i open the drone to see if maybe a cable got lose but no. what do u recommend to do?
The only thing that would be hard at a distance is know if the drone is coming at or away from you, cuz it would be hard to tell if a dot is getting larger coming at you or smaller going away from you

That's easy. My new Armor 6e phone is too thick for the phone stand to hold securely without slipping. A rubber band does a good job of preventing it slipping from the stand.
Just save up a bit longer and look out for a Hubsan Zino or Fimi A3 on offer, they are always coming up on flash sales instead of throwing your money away on these folding 5g WiFi look a likes.
Sorry, but this drone requires using a phone that's capable of using 802.11ac WiFi. But it does have a card reader. You can see it at 2:50 in this video. I'm not sure why yours doesn't? Are you sure that it's the same model (Visuo Zen K1). There are several other Visuo drone models.

Wel my first drine was a visou drone but saved up some money and brought a dji mavic mini never gonna go back xD

Did you complete the compass calibration first? And how many satellites were you receiving when you tried to take off?

Wie viele Satelliten empfangen Sie? Sie benötigen mindestens 9 Satelliten, sonst startet die Drohne nicht.
Und was ist wenn die. Drohne mehr als 9 Satelliten empfangen tut.??

Is there a preferred sd card for this drone? Newbie here
A 32GB U3 card should work well with this drone. Don't get a larger capacity as the drone's card writer may not recognize greater than 32 GB cards.

That's easy. My new Armor 6e phone is too thick for the phone stand to hold securely without slipping. A rubber band does a good job of preventing it slipping from the stand.

So there's no app I can use with my phone because my phone doesn't have 80211ac n I have no SD card reader on my model either grrrr
