I can’t even believe Bad Reputation is a real album. That thing went through so many producers and executives who all collectively said, “yeah, this is quality.” Sometimes I like to pretend it’s a parody so I can deny the fact that there are people out there who unironically enjoy it.

I'm not trying to take down your point, but you're a little off. By quite a lot. Albums aren't like movies in terms of producers and executives. Bad Reputation had exactly one producer: Kid Rock. He financed the album's marketing and production himself. The album was released by his co-owned record label Top Dog Records, which he owns alongside Matthew Schafer, AKA Uncle Kracker. The point is that they basically two-manned this and much of his other albums specifically because no other label is going to release something this shitty. No other producer would finance it. That's the marker for just how crappy it and a few of his other works is. If he had another producer, or if he'd shopped it around to labels, he'd get some feedback...which he would ignore to finance the album himself anyways.
He didn't have a bunch of people enabling him to make this album. Any feedback he did get he ignored.

I know that this is going to sound like a joke, but "17" by Flyysoulja saved my life to some extent. I was in a pretty rough and stressful state in my life, where I was feeling trapped, like I would collapse at any moment, but then I watched Brad's video about this proyect. At that moment, I never laughed so hard in a while, and helped me pass through those rough and depressing times. Actually, that's one of the videos that got me into this channel, and honestly, this felt like a short memory trip to all the iconic moments of this year and this channel.
If you're reading this, Thanks a lot Brad. Your content is amazing, the community is incredible, and you helped me discover new music that I didn't knew I would enjoy. Best of luck in the future, and I hope we can get this hell of a hivemind even bigger. Keep it up!

Brad, you should check out Black Eyed Peas 2018 album Masters of the Sun Vol 1. It's a really weird 15 minutes where they decided they weren't pop anymore and were "resurrecting" Hip Hop with lyrical miracle bars. It's not terrible but also not amazing. Just fascinating in how quick and inauthentic their artistic directions can change. They then realised it didn't work and went on to make fake reggaeton pop. An interesting listen, most of the tracks have music videos too.

Ok I'm not going to lie here, this latest album by muse is phenomenal. It fullfills all wotpings given and adds a wotp to the lore of this lp. Matt intriciately wotplaining the wotps and merits of wotpology in the opening track isn't even the highlight, nor is him stripping in the halloween music video screaming "it's wotping time" while manhandling a chainsaw filled to the brim with "wotp juice" (which yes is sold in stores wotpwide). The real highlight is how real this album feels while staying on the edge of the genre "fictioncore". I honestly think this album deserves to have a whole new genre named after its very existence and not only that, aoty should officially change its name to wotp for fullfilling the wotps and wotpees of the site at hand. I'm not even mad about the 8 month wait or the 37 mins runtime (honestly 10 mins in and I was about to wotp fr), nor am I mad about matt's wotperisms in the lyrics and how every 30 seconds or so the songs cut to some kind of weird shower water audio with the sounds of chris and dom in the background (ngl this decision did give the album a huge experimental avant-garde art rock vibe akin to mgk and tool). The things I was more mad about were the facts that nothing in this album exists in real life, like where tf are the wotpology degree courses and wotpism churches, where is the video for the aforementioned shower audio, this album is stockpilling too much life purpose into me and idk wtf to do with it and I feel genuinely gaslit from all the NEGATIVE reviews this album is getting (which makes me think the kobk crystals my car dealer gave me were FAKE all along). The truth is that this experience made me fill my bathwater AND throw it out and it turned out all I needed all along was your appliance, not even the matt "pew pews" in the 2nd chapter to this epic makes me think this album is anything short of the greatest album ever made and honestly the moment which made me wotp to wotps end was the fucking bagpipe solo in the closing track "we are fucking fucked". Not only is this song a clever nod to how much sex muse fans have on a day-to-day basis, it is also an incredibly subtle allusion to politics and the state of the world (ik right i only caught that on repeat listens). I honestly never knew the government were THAT bad fr, very dystopia. I went back to past muse albums and holy shit ive opened up a rabbit hole that just wotp close. WHO KNEW THE RESISTANCE WAS LITERALLY 1984?????!!!???? I'm so glad muse opened up my eyes to the real world and put me on the path to becoming a ceritified metacentrist.

about P!ATD album infectious catchinness - "Middle of a break-up" stucked in your head, Brad? imagine being the person who lived with "Something about Maggie" repeated in their head. The song with a "mamas and papas shitting bricks" line. my life is a suffering and I hate Brendon for it. well deserved place in the top -_-

@@jeremyusreevu237 yeah, no. I've listened to the whole Panic! discography, and even "Pray for the wicked" not that bad compared to VLV. bad lyrics is one thing but this time Brendon went damn off with strained vocals. it made this album unlistenable for me. except for the first song which is good and "Don't let the lights goes out" - which is bland. the other shit is, as Brad said, annoying af. I remember all this songs sadly and will pay real money to delete Maggie, Local God, Star-spangled banger and Sugar Soaker from my brain

I love Panic! At the Disco, but that new album trash bro. Sounded like he got a big ego after performing Bohemian Rhapsody live well so many times, so he just went, “you know what would be good? Trying to rip Queen’s sound.” And then butchering it.

Hey You is the only good song from Divisive by Disturbed. Listening back and forth between an older Disturbed song and a newer one, I can see the difference. And AJR, Black Eyed Peas as well as Kid Rock are the absolute worst of 2022 much to my satisfaction.
Have a happy new year, everyone!

his solo stuff is awesome though

As a somewhat enjoyer of Mori Calliope: Unalive was a beyond dissapointing album even for the low expectations i had for it.
With this project, if it doesn't sound manufactured, synthetic and boring it sounds horrendously unbareable to sit throught with either the vocal performances or production (and with some of Calli's statements, she seems to somewhat share these same sentiments).
The only things i got out of this mess were parts of Q and Scuffed Up Age.
To end this comment (bc its getting way to long): this album is a perfect example of why VShojo is the only vtuber "agency" worth paying attention, bc at least the talents have creative and vocal freedom (for better and for worse), things that this album and artist behind it sure as hell don't have.

I heard one song from that muse track on the radio and couldn't tell if it was some anarchist 'burn everything down' music, or some right wing 'anti-vax type beat,' the only thing keeping me listening to the song was looking for clues on which way it was pushing.
