I'm not trying to take down your point, but you're a little off. By quite a lot. Albums aren't like movies in terms of producers and executives. Bad Reputation had exactly one producer: Kid Rock. He financed the album's marketing and production himself. The album was released by his co-owned record label Top Dog Records, which he owns alongside Matthew Schafer, AKA Uncle Kracker. The point is that they basically two-manned this and much of his other albums specifically because no other label is going to release something this shitty. No other producer would finance it. That's the marker for just how crappy it and a few of his other works is. If he had another producer, or if he'd shopped it around to labels, he'd get some feedback...which he would ignore to finance the album himself anyways. Youngblud's self titled is so sad because his music used to be really nice. Granted it's probably not your thing, but to me it was charming fun pop/rock. Now it's all faded into radio friendly mush. (Still liked the first 3 tracks though)
I’m surprised no one talks about how blatant of a copy “the will of the people” sounds like “the beautiful people” that came out almost 30 years ago. Also, of all the artists to rip off, why Marilyn Manson? Given his reputation nowadays it’s so bizarre
As a somewhat enjoyer of Mori Calliope: Unalive was a beyond dissapointing album even for the low expectations i had for it. With this project, if it doesn't sound manufactured, synthetic and boring it sounds horrendously unbareable to sit throught with either the vocal performances or production (and with some of Calli's statements, she seems to somewhat share these same sentiments). The only things i got out of this mess were parts of Q and Scuffed Up Age. To end this comment (bc its getting way to long): this album is a perfect example of why VShojo is the only vtuber "agency" worth paying attention, bc at least the talents have creative and vocal freedom (for better and for worse), things that this album and artist behind it sure as hell don't have.
THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE I heard one song from that muse track on the radio and couldn't tell if it was some anarchist 'burn everything down' music, or some right wing 'anti-vax type beat,' the only thing keeping me listening to the song was looking for clues on which way it was pushing. It's funny how you said it's a political choose your own adventure album because I literally couldn't decide which way it was going

I will still stand up for WOTP. I really like that album. I haven’t heard the rest of these though which is probably a good thing
Nothing will beat your reaction to 17 though. That album indirectly became a cornerstone of your channel for a dang good reason
"Jacob2004" You're not alone. I actually liked that album as this album got me into them. I think the reason people hate that album is that the whole album it didn't sound like Won't Stand Down or Kill or Be Killed and the title track that sampled one song (I still like that song Will of the People sampled btw so you can come at me all you want)
WOTP SWEEP! WE ARE FUCKING FUCKED! KILL OR BE KILLED! OETS DO IT FOR THE WILL IF THE PEOPLE!
I’m so glad I never knew most of these albums came out. I can’t believe people like the Black Eyed Peas, Meghan Trainir and Charlie Pugh are already forgotten about 😂
Firstly, it's fitting that you featured the two terrible songs that had me dying from laughter during the "Elevation" (#4) part. Secondly, I had never heard of some of these albums until now. I'm never *willingly* going to check them out! 😅
how did you manage to forget to put the best line off that kid rock album in the preview section
you know the one
Which?
@@BradTasteInMusicOfficial I think I just shit my pants (the last track)
Since you've reacted to Disturbed's "The Sickness," I have another not-great Nu Metal album you could check out: Adema's Debut Album of the same name (Adema 2001).
That's cool you aren't into Mori Calliope, but she still got one more album this month. We waiting on the reaction lol
So glad “The Loneliest Time” by Carly Rae Jepsen isn’t on here
I would literally throw hands if it were 👋
I just heard the entirety of lil' diabetes' "The shortest album ever" and i'm so pissed now that you have hated on such a masterpiece.
It’s almost like we saw Kid Rock at #1 coming
viva las vengeance really marked panic's downfall ngl
Kid Rock feels like the naturalistic conclusion of modern day shock rappers. I hope they look at the songs on Bad Reputation and consider their ways tbh. Unless they wanna be doing the 2034 version of Never Enough lmao!!
Best channel on RUclips baby let's go 🔥🔥🔥
5:51 There goes my soul 😔
you’re gonna need to remake the list now that RKelly dropped
@5:14 I couldn't ignore the fact that fingers bent backwards into an L shape.
IMMA GENIUS COULDA MADE DONDA
17 is the best album i've heard this year. Thank you Brad.
I could only think about Death of a Bachelor when listening to Viva Las Vengeance, idk why
Dear future me, I’m really hoping Viva Las Vengeance made it
HELL YEAHHHHH
Solid list! Personally think MGK could have been lower, but still really great!
I was about to ask why The Brave wasn’t number 1 but you’re right. It’s too easy
about P!ATD album infectious catchinness - "Middle of a break-up" stucked in your head, Brad? imagine being the person who lived with "Something about Maggie" repeated in their head. The song with a "mamas and papas shitting bricks" line. my life is a suffering and I hate Brendon for it. well deserved place in the top -_-
Yeah, no. It's not P!ATD's best, but VLV is still a great album.
@@jeremyusreevu237 yeah, no. I've listened to the whole Panic! discography, and even "Pray for the wicked" not that bad compared to VLV. bad lyrics is one thing but this time Brendon went damn off with strained vocals. it made this album unlistenable for me. except for the first song which is good and "Don't let the lights goes out" - which is bland. the other shit is, as Brad said, annoying af. I remember all this songs sadly and will pay real money to delete Maggie, Local God, Star-spangled banger and Sugar Soaker from my brain
@@dariswaters1080 At least we both agree that the title track is good.
saw MGK wanted to skip that shit so fast accidentally pressed the restart button
I love Panic! At the Disco, but that new album trash bro. Sounded like he got a big ego after performing Bohemian Rhapsody live well so many times, so he just went, “you know what would be good? Trying to rip Queen’s sound.” And then butchering it.
there is no way that flyysoulja album was made this year. impossible.
Hey You is the only good song from Divisive by Disturbed. Listening back and forth between an older Disturbed song and a newer one, I can see the difference. And AJR, Black Eyed Peas as well as Kid Rock are the absolute worst of 2022 much to my satisfaction.
Have a happy new year, everyone!
the amount of political albums in this is DEVASTATING
as a huge camellia fan Huge W and Dead On Arrival are his worst beats by far
his solo stuff is awesome though
still usually loud asf so not for everyone but it isn't as much of an obnoxious hardcore brostep beat as Huge W
him working with mori calliope isn't surprising though, the only good collab he's had imo is toby fox
actually i am kinda worried that his next album will be this garbage cuz of the recent singles he dropped plus the mori calliope collabs now that i'm thinking about it 🤐
dude when i heard it i was like "camellia nooooo..."
Baby on Baby 2 was the most mid album I’ve listened to in a while
AIN'T NOBODY GONNA TELL ME HOW TO LAIVE! chung chucuchung chung
10:42 i was waiting for this.
Island boys somehow made one of the best so bad it’s good albums in recent years and a prime example of the most stereotypical trash trap rap in the same year. I don’t know if I should be impressed or the complete opposite
I didn't like that Demondice album but I want to cut her some slack. Her livelihood makes it essentially impossible to avoid dealing with all that dumb internet bullshit constantly.
Bad Reputation lives up to its name
Youngblud's self titled is so sad because his music used to be really nice. Granted it's probably not your thing, but to me it was charming fun pop/rock. Now it's all faded into radio friendly mush. (Still liked the first 3 tracks though)
4:58 - 5:10 That made me laugh
me and my pregnancy scare hearing da baby bragging about no condoms: :0
We already know what number one is going to be
I’m surprised no one talks about how blatant of a copy “the will of the people” sounds like “the beautiful people” that came out almost 30 years ago. Also, of all the artists to rip off, why Marilyn Manson? Given his reputation nowadays it’s so bizarre
16:07 The muse subreddit actually thinks this song is a better album closer than “megalomania” on oos😂
we dont lol
No we don't lmao
What's funny is that I never knew that DaBaby had dropped something this year lol
Cali being above demondice is something I didn't expected
You forgot to mention the fact that DaBaby dropped it as a surprise album which doesn’t really work because he’s not NBA YoungBoy.
THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE
I heard one song from that muse track on the radio and couldn't tell if it was some anarchist 'burn everything down' music, or some right wing 'anti-vax type beat,' the only thing keeping me listening to the song was looking for clues on which way it was pushing. It's funny how you said it's a political choose your own adventure album because I literally couldn't decide which way it was going
DON DAAAADAAA
DON DAAAADAAA
IMMA TOP SHOTTA
1. Black Eyed Peas
2. Kid Rock
3. MGK
4. Tom Macdonald
5. Panic! at The Disco
Flyysoulja is only bad because every song is so much worse than “Head”. That song legitimately might be my song of the year
it's an absolute masterpiece
Head is a masterpiece but people are sleeping on Betrayed, Top Don Dada, Island Girls, Kaliya, and In My City tbh
Ngl, I didn't know of Rewired and I have been listening to it on repeat the last 30 minutes.
Also, one of my favorite bands is Bloodhound Gang, so take what you will.
