Thank you for posting this and just shared it to another DBZ buddy of mine. I feel as fans this is closure as we didn’t get the show until the late 90’s on Toonami hahaha.
just curious where you around in 1994 and were you in the U.S. and did you know about dragon ball z?? I’m curious if people knew about it while it was airing in Japan back in the early-mid 90s.. I believe DBZ didnt air until 1996 here in the states and didnt become popular until it aired in cartoon network in late 1999-early 2000s.
I always found it interesting that they had that litttle countdown sound before a show started. Was Fuji tv the only ones that did it, or did other stations do it too? And I know the Dragonball series aired Wednesday nights at 730, but did they re-air eps in other regions of Japan the same week?
RIP Toriyama thank you for being a big representation to fuji tv and toei animation as you made a huge impact on dragon ball and dragon ball z let your legacy continues
Oh wow..didn't know the Playdia Exterminate Saiyans game still selling while the Buu Saga was in effect. 5:22, also did not know this was still selling while the Buu Saga is in effect. 7:03, oh no!! Yusuke is under attack by a live-action toku Toguro!
Insane nostalgia. Saw this from those bootleg tapes as a kid.

Looks like Japanese 90's kids had as much of a childhood as U.S. 90's kids. Simpler times.
Back when the only way to watch this show was to buy illegal bootleg vhs tapes these were considered bonus features

@@Cris18Martinez dbz aired in the US in 1996 after the complete japanese run. It was not until 1998 when it aired on Toonami when it blew up.
A kindred spirit. I remember and had all VHS tapes
