Great video. One of the secrets to becoming better at playing bass is to record yourself on a bass-less track. I also use Moises.

Very true! This is what I set monthly in my membership. Such a good way to improve. I am going to do a Moises RUclips tutorial soon.

Bass-less tracks are fun although I like to find a drums only track and play what I think would work

    Groovy. Gravy baby!
As usual, brilliant Greg, but that span is a bit tough for me, (arthritis which is slowly getting worse)do you think I'd be better off getting a short scale , and if I did is there a compromise with tone etc?
    Cheers as always 😎

Sorry to hear that. I’ve tried some really good short-sacks basses and thought they were great. A particular favourite is the Fender Mustang - loved the tone and very playable.

Love the turnaround and rhythm changes! (can't beat the black nylons . . . )

Some really great lines in there! I'm really liking the black nylons. Took me a while to work out how to vary my plucking hand attack to get the best sound out of them.
