ATOTO P9 Portable Headunit Review

Here's a look at the ATOTO P9 headunit and some of its features.
Portable head units are an affordable and easy way to modernize an older vehicle that you do not want to change the OEM look of the headunit. In addition its easy to carry around if you travel a lot and change vehicles.
The P9 features wireless Android Auto and Apply Carplay. In this video, the head unit is installed in a Lexus GS350 for demonstration. Note: The suction mount must be mounted to glass and not the dashboard as it won't stick. It is connected via aux but also can be used through FM transmission or bluetooth to the car's stereo.

Get a nice touchscreen 10" double DIN unit. It'll stick proud from the dash but worth the screen size in such a big vehicle. There's many on Amazon. Something with wireless carplay/android auto.

for people with really old cars, its not bad. ITs a big bonus to have a unit up high
I have their 2 din unit in my old toyota.
Old cars typically mounted radio units really low, so it makes it hard to glance at the map or simply interface.

I mentioned that I was disappointed with the mount. It was supposed to hang over the vents and hide the wires. I have to 3d print a bracket to extend it now
