Mean Machine (Wacky Races) - Blender Timelapse

My first real attempt at modeling something in Blender that isn't just following a tutorial.
I chose the Mean Machine because it seems very simple conceptually (you can cheat a lot with cylinders), but still has a very unique shape to it. Also Wacky Races.
You'll see me do some things in this video that are less than optimal. Mostly I'm just trying to see what works well and what doesn't. Particularly the top fin would've been EZ game if I just modelled it separately and then attached it, but where would the fun in that be?
It's not UV mapped as you can see, but maybe I'll do that another day.
Whole thing took a little under 6 hours.
