There actually is a little flagged reroute around that flooded out road walk. Can be hard to find but it is on the Avenza map too! Hope those dang bugs get the heck out of here soon.
By that time in the day and with the mosquitos, I was moving pretty fast and wet feet seemed the the quicker route to my hammock than a trail I was unsure of. That trail was easier to see going northbound.
I hope it looks better than it was a month ago, so many downed trees on that section…. Ended up making the same mistake coming out of the camp site and back tracked about a mile before I saw my own footprint and figured it out😂😂
Another awesome adventure Jeremy!! I did this section last fall but it took me 4 days I’m slow lol I love the lake walk section just being next to that big beautiful beast always puts a smile on my face💚
That's a tough section of Trail. What bug repellent were you using? I'm mainly use muscul. I tend not to bring any liquid sprays, mostly use cream bug repellents.
I really enjoy your videos, when are you and rob going to have another session of chewing the fat ? I need to look into purchasing a hiking hoodie can you tell me what your green one is in most of your videos. Does it wick moisture and dry fast, how about warmth I need something that keeps my head warm since I'm bald and hate getting any head drafts
Hey Almost what's the white stuff sack that you have in your outside pocket on your pack (visible at 11:00 when you set up the Ridgerunner)? Is that a custom DCF bag for your spreader poles?
Dude! Great video! Brought back memories of being in those sections! Those skeeters are the worst this year then I’ve ever experienced, shits crazy man 🏃🏼♂️💨🦟🦟🦟🦟 lol
That minnow in your cnoc bag was too funny. Your videos are great and get better (if that's possible) every time, Thanks for your efforts!!!
Amazing landscapes my friend, gorgeous shots.👌👌🥾🥾
The good, the bad and the awful mosquitoes 🦟, all in one trail. You worked hard for it and I appreciate you filming it for us. It is very beautiful!

It’s a custom stuff sack I sewed from Ultra 200 material that holds hammock spreader bars, tarp pull out bars, stakes, and guy lines.
