ARK - HOW TO GET HIGHER LEVEL DINOS IN SINGLE PLAYER! I show what settings you need to change to get higher level dinos on all your maps. You only have to do it one time to change it on all your maps. If you have any questions please leave them in the comment section and I will answer your questions. I hope you enjoy the video!

Your welcome! I am glad it helped you out. It is a lot more fun playing with higher level dinos. It will take some time for the higher level to spawn in but they will over time. Now when you start a new map they will come in right away.

@@TMCLOSKYI done this but the highest level Dino I’ve found is only 100 and I’ve been playing for around 4 hrs now

Mine on switch says 120
Admincheat Destroywilddinos will kill all wild Dinos on the map, then you don't have to wait till all the Dinos are dead or kill them all yourself, and don't worry they respawn after a few minutes, and if you're on pc you can change your ini settings to get higher levels than 150
Edit: and your tamed Dinos are also save

@@Sp3dsaurus the cheat ist available on all platforms as long as you're in singleplayer or the admin of the server, but that you get higher levels than 150 you must have access to the ini file which is only available on PC as far as I know
@@Sp3dsaurus for PS4 you have to enable admin commands and click options and press Triangle, square and R1 at the same time and you should get the admin menu

The only way to get high levels like that is to spawn them in yourself or play on servers that have really high level dinos.

Thank you so much! I knew about the difficulty level slider but I had no idea about the max difficulty check box so I’ve been searching and searching and not finding anything higher than 120 and wondering what was wrong

I’ve also found the age of the world seems to make a difference, when you first spawn and within the first 10 days or so, things rarely spawn above lvl 20, then after they they increase in level over time. Idk if this is exactly the case, but it is what I’ve noticed
That could be possible especially in this new Ark Ascended.
On day 8 i find a lvl 135 spinos

Im really late lol, i bought the game yesterday and i was really bored of how weak the dinosaurs are, this helped alot!

Great video did this and right after I joined my world I found two wyv lvl 130 and 145

Bro, it depends, some maps do by default have really low level dinos, like The Island for example...
All my maps were levels even the newer ones. But once you do this, it fixes all the maps.

So what you're saying is: Kill low level dinos within a certain area -> move away from the spawn area for a bit and then head back -> dinos get replaced (by and large) with more higher leveled and higher Stat leveled dinos. I ask this because (A) this is a game mechanic that was never mentioned by the devs (to my knowledge) and (B) I'm trying to source rexes leveled at 150 for breeding so I can get nice rexes for bosses... on solo. Also I'm on PS5 😅
I am not saying it will give you higher dinos but your chances to get one are better. You can do the admin command killallldinos which will wipe out all wild dinos on your map then in a few mintues it will re-populate new ones.

Yeah, it is terrible if you do not change this setting. You should start seeing dinos over a 100 now.

Hi I did all thing that you said and I found max level Quick and I was still 120 (I mean awesome spyglass said that it was max lvl)
I would think you should see some a little higher then that. I wonder if it depends on that map.
The maximum difficulty that forces the max dinosaur level to 150 doesn’t make all the new ones that spawn in at 150 does it? I want a mixed variety still or it will be to easy if everything new that Spawns in is super high level aha
No it does not make them all high levels. You will have a variety of different levels.

heads up in SP difficulty level does not change above 1. if you have access to the files you can change "difficultyoffset" for wild levels higher than 150

You betcha. I was messing with it recently and was trying to copy my custom server settings over to single player. The difficulty value just resets itself back to 1.0 any time I try to change it above 1, so I just run with max difficulty checked.

thank you i am a noob at ark but did this anyway because low level dino's are just stupid and hard to level up i normaly only got low levels now i am aiming for a high level pteranodon just need to be carefull for the harder dinos:)

On the Island I get a lot more variety of levels than I do on other maps like lost island or ragnarok is this normal? It makes finding 150s a lot harder
Mine is the opposite. I get more higher levels on Lost Island. But I played a long time on the island before I moved the difficulty up.
The max level on the island is 120 vs on other maps 150
Of u scroll down there like the settings that have a box and like u have to press it either on or off but anyway its called maximum difficulty and that makes it where on maps like the island if u have ur difficulty lvl to 1 its 120 but if u turn that on it'll be 150. Sorry I bad at explaining

Just ticking the box solves it. I'm yet to work with the first bar but I found that the default made it very tame compared to higher or a 1.
The hypothesis would be that going beyond a 1 should yield more frequent higher level dinos i.e. see more 130-150 as opposed to having them rare still.
You use to be able to move it beyond 1 but at least on the ps4 you cannot any longer. At least I was not able to.

hey man for some reason i put it to max difficulty but for the past 2 days i havent seen a single high level apart from a 100 and a 98
Your not always going to get a high level to spawn in. It just increases the chances that one will come in. I did a video showing you how to kill all wild dinos. It might speed up the process. Here is the link to it: ruclips.net/video/WA5kUXPGXfI/видео.html

It is rare to get a level 150 on a big dinos. I see a bunch of level 150's and higher on ants and bees which is stupid. You should see dinos higher then level 120 though eventually.

That is all I got too until I changed these settings. It takes a while but higher levels will start spawning in. New maps it starts right a way.
if you raise the dino levels and want the higher levels right away do a wild dino wipe and they spawn in higher levels
if you raise the difficulty level i believe they come in at over level 150
Yes, the dino wipe is the fastest way to get them to come in.

That is from videos I do showing people how to spawn in dinos. You can spawn them in at any level or you can spawn in them in at any level you want them to be.
