  • Did you know there is a ghost town underneath the famous Rattlesnake Ledges? The Moncton ghost town is a neighborhood that was flooded in 1915 after the valley containing the Chester Morse reservoir was dammed. Over 100 years later the remnants of old structures can still be found when the lake levels are low enough. Enjoy!

Great to see the lake again. Next time maybe your friends would like to go up to Rattle Snake Ledges! The town has interesting story. The lake was formed by mistake. Thanks you for sharing!
