It's the other way around. Karamatsu's voice is naturally low, but when he was younger and more insecure his voice ended up sounding more high-pitched at times. He also sounds like that when he's confused (same thing that happens to any other human being when they're confused). Totty's voice is naturally high, but he has so much rage inside that he ends up going into his lowest possible range at times. I love Todomatsu so much 🤣
Miyu Irino's tsukomi as Totty is just pure gold, it's addicting to listen to. The Calming Detective episode was one of those most hilarious moments. They were all a riot there. 🤣

I guess that's the kind of voice-acting skill that Nozawa Masako thinks has been missing from the anime industry for the most part (a skill that comes from being an actual actor before becoming a seiyuu).
Parappa the Rapper, Sena Kobayakawa, Sora (Kingdom Hearts), Eight (FF Type-0), Shouya Ishida (Koe no Katachi), Episode (-monogatari series), young Kiritsugu Emiya... Irino-san will continue dubbing when he graduates from his tertiary school of choice.
Tsubasa is still ongoing and just recently released a drama. :D Though honestly, I couldn't seperate Miyu Irino's voice with Syaoran until now. In fact, he's the only reason why I watched Osomatsu-san in the first place. No regrets there.
