Mine, too. While he has his dry monster side, it is obvious that he loves his brothers very much. He never said that he wants to be an only child and in the movie, he said that being sextuplets is fun. I don't understand why many people dislike him. His behavior is the results of being the youngest and bullied by his older brothers (like the pachinko police skit). It is very relatable. BTW, I found the people that dislike him are usually Western fans. Japanese fans love him. It is the same case with Totoko, who Japanese fans love but Western fangirls hate. Maybe this is something about culture different that I don't understand since I am Asian.
@@miyako1909 Maybe! Karamatsu (big time) and Ichimatsu have the most appeal to the Western fandom. Definitely had to fight for my life as a Todomatsu girl back at the start haha, especially with the Sutabaa episode. I’ve noticed this trend with other characters with similar tropes to Todomatsu and Totoko. Like Teruhashi from Saiki K. There seems to be a notable disconnect between their appeal in the West and in Japan. The reception to their personality seems more negative for sure. Todomatsu definitely came off less sympathetic to fans before the later seasons and movie, even when the other characters exhibited bad behaviours too. He’s very relatable for those reasons you said for sure, and I’ve personally always liked how smart and savvy he can be despite being lazy.
I don't understand why people dislike him. Given how his older brothers bullied him, his behavior is understandable. But it has been shown in many occasions that he love his brothers very much. All of the brothers treat each other like trash anyway, but it is just typical siblings' love-hate relationships.

im fully aware that hes a two-faced arrogant and “heartless” guy most of the time but come on! its his character charm 😂 i actually love it when he breaking the “facade” and becoming satan everytime hes screaming or mad, i think its so cute and also unhinged at the same time, like a moe gap somehow lol
