I love the Classic and the Capri coupe - had a close look at both at a classic car a few years ago, and fell in love with them. These, and the 105e Anglia have to be my favourite classic Fords.
Sharp looking car,i like the older british fords,I grew up in the 1970s born in 1963,here in the USA english fords were a rare sight and once in a while you may spot cortinas and Angela's never saw anything like the consul capri or corsair. PBS television stations here in the USA would show a british films and i would watch them just to see the cars driving the opposite side of the road LOL.
It's surprising how seeing an image of a car can evoke memories from a distant past. In this case, seeing the video of this gorgeous car immediately reminded me that a friend in Liverpool, in the mid-Sixties, had owned this model. It was turquoise and white, a colour combination that really suited it. It was exotic and in the Merseyside fog it suggested the sunny beaches of California. I had not really thought much about it for the past fifty years 😲. I congratulate the owner on her exquisite taste and determination to buy what she really wanted.
Neither the look nor the shape of this car is something special or unique... 🌸 But the way the owner is attached to it made it something more than fabulous 🌹🌹🌹 Best of wishes and lots of joy ❤
@@AMMARONE65 The marques you mention we’re all expensive specialist manufacturers, not from a mass market car producer like Ford to be sold to the general public.
@riogorgos Are we talking prices?? I thought we are talking about shapes and look ... Mine ..triumph.. MG.. for example.. isn't so expensive at all .. 🌸
The registration reveals originally sold in Clackmannanshire in Scotland. Hey you give it back. Just kidding, it's a lovely example, enjoy. I love the versions with the stars on the grill, that really sets it off at the front.
Its' not Irrelevant though, it's usually men who buy and tinker with classic cars, but if it's so irrelevant why are you so bothered that you felt the need to comment?
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing that car on my driveway! What a beauty she is indeed.

Well done Vicky. Looking forward to seeing it in December ;)
What a beautiful car and such an elegant colour combination.
It really is!
One of ford rarest and best looking old fords. I had three and regret selling my last one

Look or shape nothing special? What cars today look anything like this?
@riogorgos
You can't compare Appels with oranges
Look at cars from that same time.

Might be a personal reg.

@@2001perseus. Yes good point Percy! -( I hope you and Andromeda are both keeping well).
This model is the best looking early ford.
A beautiful car fit for a beautiful lady.
MUCH nicer than the new Capri !
Its a classic beauty - the gender of the owner is irrelevant and I cannot understand why its mentioned in the thumbnail description

The GT version is very desirable. Bit more go.
Saw one at a show in Wokingham England last month, it had the 1500 Cortina GT lump in it.
That lady looks very well for a sixties child..
If you want to sale this car let me know thanks.
FFS, has she ever taken it out without something breaking down!
Almost 70 years old and we all seem to get something breaking down, you don’t have to be a car ha ha!
