I love that Vic has loads of stories about famous people, and every single one of them is him doing something utterly bizarre. It's the very best kind of name-dropping.
Please take her away from us ! (Actually I quite like her myself but I know she would be a nightmare to live with. You'd need a LOT of Valium. For both of you.)
Achy breaky Heart may be the only song that John Snow was sort of keeping the rhythm while doing his so-called "dancing". And I say it's absolutely amazing and adorable how he made an art and a forte out of not being able to dance.
Also, I'm pretty sure, close to the only time his dancing wasn't almost exclusively him swinging his right arm around in circles for all of it. Love the man, but his ability to dance is - as you said - non-existant, and yet we still love to see it.
1:25:10 to 1:26:17 i think that is the only time jimmy actually gave the answer when he was asked for it, just out of emotion. 😂 "i love you, claudia but no"
Thomas Edison *did not invent* the lightbulb. 💡He hired a huge team of technicians to develop a marketable (not permanent) filament for one he could make money from. The point was to turn the long-lasting lightbulb into a disposable item that people needed to buy continually instead of just once or twice in a lifetime.
If I understand correctly the long-lasting ones, like the Centennial Light, are incredibly dim. I don't think it is conspiracy and that bulb manufacturers are deliberately withholding long-lasting bulbs that are also incredibly bright. We see how, for example, automotive halogen light bulbs that are brighter bulbs don't last as long and vice versa (long-life bulbs are dimmer), it's just the engineering tradeoff. While LED bulbs with more didoes that are driven less hard would last longer (and are offered in some markets), by necessity they cost more to manufacture and are sold at a higher price, so again there is a trade-off there.
@@TassieLorenzo My understanding is that the Centennial light is fed by a low-wattage dynamo - perhaps for obvious reasons. Cycling on and off will shorten the life of any incandescent bulb. A continuous duty glow at a moderate level will maximize the durability of any filament type. The tweaking of multiple factors is certainly a commercial decision.

@@terranceparsons5185 well yeah, after serious and extensive research she had no reason to lie. To even make a co-racial relationship public was an extremely risky thing to do. Well let's be honest, the Germans lost because they attacked Russia before knocking Britain out of the war and then Hitler decided he was a better general than von Paulus, von Runstedt, Rommel, Guederian, von Manstein etc. If Britain fell, how would the US beat Germany? If Britain fell what would prevent an army 2 to 3 times as large taking Russia?
Vic and Bob were on fire. "My name is James Bond... James Bond" is so simple and hilarious.

"Do you remember?" 😂
@julianevens9548
I just want a funny comedian, not a charity case. 6 out of 7 isn't bad. Although Claudia Winkleman would be a nightmare girlfriend.
He's brilliant. Bob too.
I love that you believe the rubbish that comes out of his mouth lol

Bob yes
I just love Bob Mortimer he is a national treasure!
Bob Mortimer is so lovable that i can't help but smile like an idiot when he's on.
I love Bob on Would I Lie to You! and Claudia Winkelman. They are hysterical with their stories.
He's fantastic on WILTY, such a good storyteller.
Bob and Vic are the best duo out there. OBVIOUSLY 😊
You might be the first person ever to call them Bob and Vic. Do you also enjoy the work of Dec and Ant?
Off course 😊
Yes, I agree. Vic and Bob are the most intelligent and the funniest there. And joking aside, they ARE both very well read, very intelligent.
“Bob and Vic” you get it 😎
Great line up.
Vic and Bob on the same team is a brilliant move
I'm totally, completely, eternally, madly, hopelessly, and HELPLESSLY in love with Claudia Winkleman.
She's insane on Would I Lie to You and I think she did something on Task Master.
Please take her away from us !

1:25:39 - Jimmy foreshadowing his "I Literally Just Told You" quiz show which came along three years after this was filmed! 😲
YESSS I wouldn't be surprised if this was sort of where he got the idea for it
I'm genuinely so thrown by the pronunciation of Nestle (fuck that genuinely monstrous company) in that old ad at 1:11:00
17:16 I'LL SLEEP WITH MARTIN, ME WOOD LOUSE
I wonder if Bob Mortimer is accepting adoption applications
1:25:10 to 1:26:17 i think that is the only time jimmy actually gave the answer when he was asked for it, just out of emotion. 😂 "i love you, claudia but no"
Also the fact that he invented his future show "I literally just told you".
Vic and Bob absolutely broke me with those Willy Wonka answers.
I've been watching your show on RUclips in America and I'm learning to speak English very badly.
People say Jimmy is a robot but the "Don't Impress Me" bit makes me think Claudia is having a system meltdown and needs a major hardware upgrade.
Simon Pegg was a Milky Bar Kid. He does a great interview about the struggles he had with the part, with Alan Partidge. Emotionl stuff.
I think the Monopoly pieces question could also be answered with the items the Polymorph turns into on "Polymorph" from Red Dwarf.
Lol Jimmy saying "I love you" Claudia. And they didn't catch it. 🤟🏽💯😊
This entire episode was chaos from beginning to end
BOB AND THAT DUDE THAT FUCKED UP THE EGG TRICK 😮😅😅😅
1:25:59 is definitely my favouite bit of this whole episode.
They all are amazing comedians ❤
THIS WAS THE BIRTH OF I LITERALLY JUST TOLD YOU

I always want Claudia to win
Love Vic & Bob, I'm not sure why Jonathan Ross or Cladia Winkleman are ever given air time?
Those famous bears roaming the English hillsides.
Fun fact: Aside from the Beatles themselves, Bob Dylan is the only musician featured on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club album cover.
Dion is also there.
how is that fun at all?

I am paying monthly for no ads and but i am still getting ads as part of the video.
Same here! I was so weirded out to have an advert after so long of not having them

they’re nothing to do with youtube, they’re part of the video from wherever this person ripped the video from. skip past them you utter simpleton.
I can't help but feel that the Jonathans dogs scenario was kind of 'a bit' on his part that didn't really work?!
Miranda acting like the dog was dragging by her around- that woman could anchor a cruise liner. Re: the dogs, listening to the poor buggers trying to breath under hot studio lights wasn't for me.
It was a cheap shot. Those poor deformed dogs. It made me sick.
True ,, I got the same impression . It was just annoying !
It’s not the same without Richard ayoade
You're right, it's way better
Listening to those poor dogs struggle to breathe is fucking painful.
Embedding ads in a RUclips video while uploading copywrited content. Shame.
I have never got one of those children stories
That's because they're SHIT.
my mum had a craving for skips when she was preg, hasn't eaten them since giving birth.

Jimmy Carr has some incriminating photos of Jon Snow, it's the only explanation, that or he got/gets him really drunk!?

Can soeone make an edit of this with nish removed?
It's good to see nish laughing at his own jokes otherwise the show would be full of uncomfortable silences (or at least when he isn't shouting)
Jonathon...you also are overpaid. Many would say you are a massive pwick too.
Oh joy, no Richard Ayoade
Betty Hill WAS NOT AND IS NOT a "nutter" .... Jimmy, you cnut.
