Dennis Rodman I have bobbleheads for MJ, Penny, Kawhi, PG, and Lou. I still haven’t found one I really like for DWade and Larry Legend. But I’m content with the 5 I already have. I might give away the Lou one though. For a time, LeBron was my 2nd favorite player of all-time. He was my favorite current player for a good 10 years. I was Team LeBron over Team Kobe from 2003-2013. People forget how hated Kobe was during his prime. Iverson was more popular than him. And Kobe was very standoff-ish with the media until he got to his 30s and became a better leader and better person overall. If Kobe was never a Laker or let’s say he did sign with the Clippers in 2004 and he won us a chip or even came close to it, he would be my 2nd favorite player of all-time. Yeah, he’s kinda a Xerox copy of late 90s MJ with his fadeaway and footwork. But I would’ve loved him almost as much as the 90s original. Congrats on his statue tomorrow. He died 4 years ago and retired 8 years ago, so it’s loooooong overdue. MJ already got a statue of him by 1994 or years before he had another threepeat. Paul George ranking 7th is still on shaky ground. He can easily fall out of my top 10. There are times when he frustrates me to no end. His game is so silky smooth and he’s so skilled/talented, but then he’s capable of disappointing you in the playoffs with bad efficiency and awful turnovers. And I never forgot him gagging both free throws against Phoenix. Kawhi’s game isn’t prettier than Paul’s, but he’s won rings, he’s efficient, and he’s a proven playoff performer. I used to have Tracy McGrady in my top 10 but I figure I’ll replace him with Paul George since they’re similar in height and share the same skillset. But the difference between them and MJ/Kobe, is they lack the alpha to be a leader. Hence, why T-Mac couldn’t get out of the First Round for years. T-Mac/PG-13 are very skilled players who are underachievers in the playoffs that MJ and Kobe were not. T-Mac/PG-13 are taller versions of MJ/Kobe but who have never lived up to their potential and weren’t mentally as tough. I know Shaq was a Laker and his best years were with them but I have Shaq ranked 9th mainly for his Orlando days and a little of his Miami days. He’s responsible giving Paul Pierce and DWade their nicknames. In 1992, I was getting into basketball cards collecting and getting rookie cards of Shaq was all the rage. I even got the blue azure Shaq Attaq 1s after giving my Jordan 7 Bordeaux to my uncle. And I personally enjoyed Blue Chips (1994) with him and Penny. Shaq is the one I would love to hang out with. Lou Williams was also a former Laker but his best days were with the Clippers. If you ask him, Lakers or Clippers, he always picks Clippers. I remember back in 2017 when we were introducing our new players, Lou did not look happy. He said he got tired getting traded and wanted to retire. But those 3.5 years he had with us were some of my most fun times being a Clippers fan. Sweet Lou had a super smooth game. He understood the underdog mentality that our fanbase had. Much love to the Underground GOAT. Kawhi Leonard doesn’t have the prettiest game. He’s not as athletic or as smooth as Dr. J, MJ, Kobe, or DWade. He actually reminds me of Wizards MJ. Slower but bigger who couldn’t jump as high as before. Kawhi even in 2014 was never that athletic or smooth. But Kawhi takes the blueprints of 2nd threepeat MJ that taught Kobe and uses it. If you think about it, my Clippers never had a player in Kawhi’s calibur. CP3 and Blake were never it. Michael Jordan will always be my No. 1. I’m a Xennial (1977-1983). Most of us were programmed to be MJ fans. And it could be for Jackson, Jordan, or both. Seeing Michael Jordan is like seeing a mythical creature. It’s like, he does exist! It’s like seeing Santa Claus. Listen to what Charissa Thompson (born in 1982) had to say about His Airness and how she never wants to meet her heroes…. Notable television host, sportscaster, and host of Prime’s Thursday Night Football, Charissa Thompson, has recently revealed her soaring admiration for Michael Jordan in “Games With Names” podcast. During the podcast, she also revealed that she is such a big admirer of the six-time NBA Champion and NBA legend, “His Airness” that she refused to interview him and never wanted the personality of the icon changed in her mind. According to Fadeaway World, she shared regarding Jordan, “One is Michael Jordan and I refuse to ever meet him. I don’t want to know if he has bad breath, if he is mean to me, I can’t. I need to put him on the shelf and always have him be my favorite.” Thompson also revealed that when she got a chance to interview him, she did not move forward with that interview. She states, “The first opportunity I ever had to interview him, his son Jeffrey was playing for Illinois and we’re in Indianapolis. They were like, ‘You need you to go up to the suite and interview Michael Jordan.’ And I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ Larry Bird was with him too and I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ And they’re like, ‘What do you mean you can’t do it?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t want to meet him.’ I just love him so much.” Thompson also reminisced about her earlier days and how she used to have a lookout for the icon when she found out that he was in his camp. She continued further, “He would host a basketball camp and my guy friends that worked the valet there would call me when the black Range Rover pulled up. I was like, ‘Oh my god he’s there.’ And I would look around in the bushes like a psycho, just wanting to catch a glimpse of Michael Jordan.” Thompson is still following in her footsteps by keeping her distance and preserving her perception, which is idealized when considering one of the biggest stars of basketball. Dwyane Wade (another Xennial) and Chicago native talking about Michael Jordan….. “There was a moment when Jordan came in, and that's the reason I played basketball. We're in a hallway, the guards, we're talking before we go out, and Mike creeps in. And Mike gave me some love, and every time, I don't care. I was with the Jordan Brand, I had some moments, this is Mike. So Mike came in and gave me love, then he went right to the old dog, he went right to Magic, the clip that went viral, and if you see my face, that was the moment that I realized I was in basketball heaven. Like, my basketball lifespan had ended and I ended up in basketball heaven. To just be there, to be able to experience -- Hall of Fame is great, jersey retirement is great. For me, as a kid, I didn't have my family there. I didn't want my family there. That was individually my moment. As a young kid growing up, wanted to be one of the greatest to play the game, and I got the chance to put on that jacket and be next to my favorite player, the greatest to ever play."

Yeah and he has been to the Finals 3 times as well... Honestly did a great job coaching the 2018 Cavs as well with only LeBron as his lethal weapon to take on basically every team they face that playoffs
Sherman, I am sure that analysts were saying the same thing about the Seahawks during the Legion of Boom days. This Clippers team right here, this team is analogous to that era in Seahawks football. The Seahawks used to always choke two in the playoffs, except for the one exception in 2006-7. What you are witnessing is the breaking of the Clippers curse.
I'm hopeful that this postsession Harden will play exceptionally well. Solely on the fact he's not dealing with any pressure to score. He's the 3rd option, maybe that will ease his mind

He scored 9 points in game 7 versus the Celtics, on 27 % shooting, 20 % from three, plus-minus of -30. Which means he's probably the most trustworthy game 7 performer ever.
The problem isn’t the regular season. The problem is health and Some major playoff chokes. I wouldn’t say Russ has choked per say but his fg% goes way down. Harden obviously chokes. PG has choked. Kawhi is great.. if he plays
Oh man, as great as it is that this Clips team is finally enjoying good health and realising their potential, now we have to suffer through all this NBA media foolishness
Injuries have always held the Clippers back from getting there. If they can finally be healthy they can get to the Finals. Last season, could’ve beaten the Suns if they could stay healthy, funny enough, could’ve beaten the Suns in the Conference Finals 3 seasons ago had they not caught the injury bug at the worst time.
The Clippers are a regular season team. That only changes when they win in the playoffs and they are failures until further notice. Team cant win when it counts. Take the #1 seed and lose in the 2nd round. Sherman is 100% correct!

I need to put him on the shelf and always have him be my favorite.”
Thompson also revealed that when she got a chance to interview him, she did not move forward with that interview. She states, “The first opportunity I ever had to interview him, his son Jeffrey was playing for Illinois and we’re in Indianapolis. They were like, ‘You need you to go up to the suite and interview Michael Jordan.’ And I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ Larry Bird was with him too and I was like, ‘I can’t do it.’ And they’re like, ‘What do you mean you can’t do it?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t want to meet him.’ I just love him so much.”
Thompson also reminisced about her earlier days and how she used to have a lookout for the icon when she found out that he was in his camp. She continued further, “He would host a basketball camp and my guy friends that worked the valet there would call me when the black Range Rover pulled up. I was like, ‘Oh my god he’s there.’ And I would look around in the bushes like a psycho, just wanting to catch a glimpse of Michael Jordan.”
Thompson is still following in her footsteps by keeping her distance and preserving her perception, which is idealized when considering one of the biggest stars of basketball.
Sherman says he's seen top seeded Clipper teams. That is a lie. They've never been the top overall seed
The days in 2021 as the Clippers riding high comes back as déjà vu❤. I remember those days just watching every playoffs Clips game, and watching Skip’s show talking about Clips. Even with Kawhi gone that series with Phoenix, they still made it to the conference finals which was further than the Franchise has ever gone to. Let’s finish off what we started Clipper Nation and be champs 🎉
Clippers are Coming 🏆
As a laker fan seeing the clippers be the best team in the west hurts my soul.
They practically have an all star team tho so it’s expected.
Stop it 🤣🤣🤣🤣as a laker fan you have no room to talk about having an all star team
*I am not referring myself as a laker fan
@@bread-lk9mi 😮 you mean like how Lebron had 7 all stars few years ago and still missed the playoffs 😢😢😂😂
The deference is Kawhi Leonard is better than ever NBA players in past 20 seasons on both sides of the floor when healthy....
Lebron had
Russell Westbrook
Anthony Davis
Carmelo Anthony
Dwight Howard
Marc Gasol
Rajon Rondo
That's 7 plus
Borderline stars in
Trevor Ariza
DeAndre Jordan
Kyle Kuzma
And others and the socall wanna be Goat failed to lead that stacked team to the playoffs and run them out of the league because lebron is never to be blamed 😮😢😮😢 ????
Are you going to pretend Lebron, AD, Westbrook wasnt a thing. How many baby Lakers are there?
All of these dudes have had HUGE and big time playoff games multiple times, without this kinda talent around them to pickup the slack. Context matters
Lakers fans are like “why couldn’t we get this out of Russ when we had him” 😂😂
Like what? He is averaging like10-11 ppg lol
@@coops1992 he coming off da bench and he gettin 15 mins of play
People jus don’t watch basketball 😂🤦🏾
@@coops1992 he’s leading the sixth man of year race you casual.
Your game changes when you play with Bron. Dude a ball stopper russ likes to get out and run, pass or attack the basket is russ's game not spot up 3's cause bron wanna set up the play first that slows russ down
Barring injuries! I am getting 2007 and 2008 Boston Celtics vibes from the Clippers. 💯
I'VE BEEN SAID, THAT,.. THEY WE'RE GOING, RIGHT WHEN HARDEN GOT THERE,.. WHEN EVERYONE COUNTED HIM OUT,.. POINT BLANK PERIODTTT!!!
Skip is so slick. If the Clippers win, he will be singing another tune as usual!!!
yes they are and kawhi is better than jokic and luka and steph
😂😂
Yep, all of those 3 play garbage D
Debatable
its so weird like i dont ever think Richard Sherman will follow basketball or be involved ever as much as he is now thats pretty cool
This is a dead show
What
No it's not
Yet here you are 🤡
yet you’re watching
You spent the time to click on the video scroll down to the comments just to comment this lol go watch espn where they wear make up and don’t know sports
Key predicted their success never doubted them 🙌
This all-time collapse in the playoffs gon be historical. Skip finna be putting up Game 6 Klay numbers making excuses when it happens 😭😭😭😭
😂
Get Richard Sherman off the show
The Clippers are legit championship contenders unlike the Lakers
I'm sorry Sherman but Ty Lue's 1 championship as a coach was against the 73 win Warriors coming back from 3-1 deficit in the finals. He literally coached one of my favorite NBA finals in recent memory.
This show needs an actual basketball analyst for these segments.
Sherm right seeing it live will make him a believer. No one expected kawhi to carry Toronto like that to the chip but he did.
It's weird how Sherman say the Clippers is known to not win 🤔 he actin like all these other teams won outside of the Lakers, Warriors and Bulls including Celtics. So knock it off 😂
All they do is yell and talk super passive aggressive towards each other lol I love it lmao
Let's fukn go clippers
Its weird because I'm a Lakers fan, but not a Lebron fan. Kawhi & PG are 2 of my top 5 favorite players to watch play, but im not a Clippers fan (was hoping they'd be Lakers a few years ago before Lebron got there).
I was you til Kobe ((who’s my fav eva,J23 still goat)) retirement
JERRY WEST Self removal of basketball operations.
DR.Bust ((DAUGHTER)) ways of operating the Lakers Organization ruined that culture I loved before 2018
Kawhi is my current fav since ik I would have to find a new fav once Kobe retired (little did I know he was working in Kobe shadows)
Kawhi is a 2x champ not 3. I feel like undisputed be misleading the viewers on purpose. You have to do your research when you listen to these guys, and other shows be doing the same thing💯🔥🔥
clippers dont have to trust james they have kawhi playoff God
Kawhi doesn't play in the playoffs.
Let's see what they does in the playoffs
They finna add PJ Washington from the Hornets for Bones Hyland and PJ Tucker
I think pj washington is a better fit in golden state..the dubs should trade wiggs for him straight up..unless the warriors can get markkanen..i am even willing to include gp2 in that trade..
James Harden hit two game winners in the playoffs last year. Cant trust a guy like that
He scored 9 points in game 7 versus the Celtics, on 27 % shooting, 20 % from three, plus-minus of -30. Which means he's probably the most trustworthy game 7 performer ever.
Keyshawn! On it!
The problem isn’t the regular season. The problem is health and Some major playoff chokes. I wouldn’t say Russ has choked per say but his fg% goes way down. Harden obviously chokes. PG has choked. Kawhi is great.. if he plays
Keyshawn finally making a point
Oh man, as great as it is that this Clips team is finally enjoying good health and realising their potential, now we have to suffer through all this NBA media foolishness
Norman Powell is a blessing fr fr
Sherman was in pain hearing about LAC.😅
Richard Sherman is an unbelievable analyst and human being in general. He’s the only man to have seen the clippers be the #1 seed in human history.
Bro I'm fn with the cordiality of today's show even through the disagreement
I agree with Sherm, we got to see it in the Playoffs.
I just like that Zion is also doing the commentator job knowing he will faced the clippers later. :)
Skip blowing like a kid is hilarious
LET'S GO CLIPPERS💙
T Lou was and assistant coach for the 08 Celtics so he has 2 chips as a coach
This talk Reminds me of the 04 Boston Red Sox.
The Clippers are a regular season team. That only changes when they win in the playoffs and they are failures until further notice. Team cant win when it counts. Take the #1 seed and lose in the 2nd round. Sherman is 100% correct!
Only scarier than this Kawhi is Mr. Rogers in a bloody sweater
*NUGGETS IN 6*
👑🃏 *MVP* ×3
THE NUGGETS WONT REACH 6 GAMES AGAINST THE CLIPPERS. CLIPS IN 4 OR 5.
