You restructure, so the team has more leeway, and then you get screwed out of a 1/4 million because of another dude's drama. SMH ... and if the Clippers don't get a chip in the next couple of years ... a lot of these dudes are gonna have suspect legacies.

    I agree with Chuck on this one. It's going to be interesting to see how the ball gets distributed on the Clippers, as their starting lineup is 4/5 players that needed the ball to thrive. Zubac might love his new gig of "I just play D and rebound, someone else gets to shoot lol".
    For me, I'd surmise that Kawhi and PG might get capped minutes against doormat teams (maybe coach caps them at 30mpg) like Charlotte or Washington, and let Russ and James soak up those other minutes. But for big games like against Denver or Boston, THOSE games will be truly interesting to see who gets the lion's share of the ball.

      @jeremydubeck4439 7 месяцев назад +7

      Kawhi will bench himself at some point for at least 40 games with vaginal cramps, and Paul George will most likely injure himself in some way again. So it'll most likely be mostly Harden and Westbrook bricking up 3s together for most of the season.

Plus now the Sixers have an amazing bench and tons of draft assets to trade for someone like Siakim if he wants out of Toronto around the trade deadline, etc etc. The Sixers are way better after this trade. "James Harden was mostly professional"
    I gotta clean the bs off my shoes after that statement.

    No athlete in history has failed upwards more than James Harden. Each situation he’s joined has been better than the previous one, and he still disappoints.

      In History?! That's quite a statement. The NBA is at least as much a business as it is a sport and in that respect, James Harden is an historic Winner. Four times he has managed to get traded exactly as he wanted it, earning millions of dollars to play ball. In a league where players get traded by their ownership for breakfast, I do believe that few of us here have the storytelling wrong.

      He’s always been trash. One the refs stopped giving him calls he can’t do anything

      I've never seen a player with such versatility and talent get traded to championship caliber teams multiple times while still being in their prime.

    In his prime, he exploited the rules on drawing fouls to average unreal scoring numbers. Those numbers dipped dramatically after they changed those rules. Harden was never that great to begin with.

      @@omenriver2399 Those are legitimate fouls. Harden mastered a technique of drawing phantom fouls on his shots. There’s even an interview back in the day where he said he’s good at exploiting the rules, and that it’s part of the game. Combine that with playing for Mike D’Antoni, and you’ve got the makings of a stat padding machine. Funny how that nearly always disappeared in the playoffs.

      @@omenriver2399 Nah, when he played for Houston he was luring guys into his shooting stance and drawing BS fouls. At one point, he averaged 12 free throw attempts a game.
