Beautifully restored with 26 acres of land and 6 fully contained apartments. For the same money you could buy an ordinary 4 bedroom house in the San Francisco Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles, or a less than ordinary 2 bedroom coop apartment in New York. It's a bargain.

For that sale price, as a seller, you wouldn't have many euros left after deducting the restoration costs. Also, I would have put a stone edge around the pond that matches the colour and style of the chateau, to tie it all in. Also, before buying, consider the punitive property taxes the French State charges on those kind of properties. And, consider the heating costs in winter to keep all rooms above freezing point, to prevent frost damage to the interior and pipes.
