The more you play this game the more fun you'll find yourself having with it! Tips: wait about 4-5 seconds to shoot most accurately -- also if you scroll up on your mouse right when going into aiming it'll make you aim faster; going into double-time when moving long distances will save your stamina which is a big part of the game; stick with the big regiments, you'll have more fun that way; 8/9pm Eastern United States time is primetime for games and when the most fun people are on

My best memory in the game was when we were under heavy fire with roleplayers shouting in the background.
First row had fired a volley and were reloading, which means that me in the second row will volley next.
But what happened was that as soon as my row fired our shot, we took a volley from the other team and almost the entire first row fell over infront of me, it was really cinematic.
With no cover nor time to reload, our CO told us to charge.
And we did.
Just thought I'd share that memory.
Too bad the game isn't balanced enough for realistic Row formations like they did historically. If you try to do it in the game it's a death sentence compared to single line
This game definitely sums up the American experience. It's fun, its chaotic, people are yelling all the time, everyone has a gun and those who don't get clapped really fast

As an american. Yankee refers to all americans if its used by a foreigner. In the united states its seen as someone from one of the Northern states. Within these northern states people even still only refer to yankees as someone from new york or new england. For those in new york and new england a yankee is someone from conneticut. Its really just an nickname for ethnic anglo saxon Protestants that founded that specific state.

Good seeing Nano fighting the good fight. War of Rights is a bit of a hidden gem played pretty heavily by a select few regiments, hopefully this Nano vid release will rally some fresh troops into the mix.
Have been streaming all the private scheduled events ive been a part of for the past 3 years. Actually had someone jump down my throat via stream chat a while back for daring to play as the CSA in a Civil War game. Still cracks me up to this day, as if only those who absolutely believe in slavery as a necessity are the only ones that play as CSA...
Just looking at some of the comments here and there genuinely does seem to be a lot of people that think chosing a side in a video game means literal support of the Confederates. I wonder how they'd feel about old Call of Duty or any other multiplayer games set in WW2 lol.

The game is very fun and definitely stick to the Union side during pub matches. Don't hesitate to join a Confederate reg though. Most don't tolerate that nonsense and the game is way more fun when both sides are organized. Also, I agree with Jc-lh4mr, Welcome Nano to your honorary American citizenship!

I played a game like this on roblox. It was usually every man for themselves, but sometimes an officer (pretty sure the game belonged to a group, so mostly members are given certain ranks) joined and made a decent unit.
EDIT: The majority of officers just had us form a line and slowly advance. It doesn't work very well, apparently people tended to break from the formation once a skirmish starts while said officer scream at them.

Played with some amazing generals on this game. They really set an amazing tone and complete the immersion. That being said, I've played with alot of terrible ones too.
Game needs more blur effects. Every time someone shoots your screen should go blurry for 5 seconds. Also when you use your iron sights, you shouldn't be able to see anything else.
Why would iron sights do that tho?
