Get your Boat ready for winter with this full tutorial on how to winterize your boat before a winter freeze occurs. My boat is a Glastron with a Mercruiser 4.3 in it but this would probably work for just about any boat with an outboard/inboard to include OMC, Evinrude and Mercruiser Outdrives with boat manufacturers like Yamaha, Glastron, Sea Ray, Monterey, Chaparral, Crownline, ect. Includes, what I think, is the easiest, cleanest and greenest (environmentally friendly) ways of adding antifreeze to your boat to prevent damage to the boat engine during a winter freeze! The best part about this is that in the video I show you how I am able to reuse the antifreeze which will save you some money as well. I also explain how to add fuel stabilizer to the boat gas tank and engine fog / protectant to protect the fuel system during storage.

What about the water that's in the engine block? Wouldn't it end up in the pool along with the RV antifreeze and dilute it and make it weaker against freezing?
Also, aren't you suppose to run your outdrive more in the downward position to avoid messing up the gimbal bearing?

Great question. Yes, it will dilute the antifreeze. Its best to check it with an antifreeze tester to make sure it can still provide protection to the winter temperatures in your area. Gimbal bearings wear out with use just like any other bearing. If you want to put the drive in a lower position to run it then that would work as well. Hope this helps. Thank you!

@JustaDude123 as far as my comment about diluting the antifreeze, it was more towards you recycling it over again. I'd think after it got diluted, you wouldn't want to use it even a 2nd time due to even more water mixed in with the antifreeze.
