This is just a bunch of pics showing the build of a brat style cafe racer. The bike is a 1980 Honda CB650. The build was done by Anthony Yates of Cafe's & Customs.
I had a 1981 cb 650 beautiful awesome machine .. but now own a 2010 Honda cgl 125 and had it completely rebuilt now a beautiful Cafe racer but the 650 is a classic .
That bike turned out great! I am considering doing a rebuild myself of a CB650, exact same bike. How is the bike to ride? Was it hard to make the new rear end? I understand this is 2 years later, however I find your bike such an amazing example of what I am looking for as a result of my bike
The bike just went up 2 levels with extra performance from the pipe and air filters and the lower center of gravity from removing the old seat adds great handling. The rear end was very easy, just some steel tubing in a loop.

what air filters are those, ive been looking for something like that. also what gauges did you get? I DONT want to order the wrong ratio... are these 4:1 ratio gauges? thanks

Your bike is why I want to take up the same project. I hope I can make my bike as nice as yours with patience because I've never done this before.
