Today we are dissecting how EVERY GTA game is connected to the next. There are many different angles to go about this. For the sake of this video, we are taking a look at GTA Protagonists who appear in other GTA games. Because of almost EVERY GTA Protagonist making a secret GTA cameo in other games, this connects every GTA game to the other.

You forgot when CJ had to fly to Liberty City and take out the mob at the restaurant we'd frequent in GTA3
that would have put that mission around December 16,1992 considering that it was snowing around that time.

Lazlo is a god, which is why he can crossover from 3d to hd.

Actually Gta Advance is in the 3d Universe(i know it doesnt make sence but hear me out)-
The names of the universes are just names for periods of Rockstar games,and Gta Advance was released around the time of Gta San Andreas.Only games in the 2d Universes are Gta 1,Gta 2,Gta London 1961&1969
I think that's what he was refering to... 8-Ball was in the 2D series of Grand Theft Auto, so was El Burro from Grand Theft Auto III who was the Diablos Gang Leader you took payphone missions for in Hepburn Heights, Portland.

Franklin has an OG Loc poster, there’s a wanted poster of Niko in GTA V, and there’s a side mission in GTA V when you find and can kill the killer of CJs mom

In GTA SA you will see Catalina and Claude which is from gta 3. In GTA 4 you can see CJ easter eggs like CJ billboards and graffittis. In GTA 5 you can see easter eggs about the characters from San Andreas like Mad dogg and OG Loc. They have posters and they have their names in the walk of fame

What if the alien car Franklin has can time travel or travel dimensions and he travels back to CJs timeline and brings CJ to the HD universe or he brings CJ to his timeline if so go to grove street with the alien car and drive full speed (or any speed) down the street until you reach the end near cjs house and press the horn so it'll show all the lights (with and without using Franklin's special ability) and if that doesn't do anything press it pointing towards cjs house or press it right before you die

You forgot to mention the second mention of niko in the Paleto bay job, Michael, Trevor and Franklin are driving to the bank with the fourth crew member(depending who chooses who) and if you pick Packie and of course everyone knows this, Packie mentions how he did the bank job with Niko in liberty city.
Yeah I chose him and he talked about the bank job, also Paleto bay was one of my favorite missions.
Should've mentioned when Lamar and Franklin are driving back home after losing the cops in the mission hood safari Lamar mentions grove street families and they talk about it .
This GSF is different from the 3d universe. If San Andreas existed, CJ would've been known all over the grove, especially Lamar and Stretch.

In my headcanon, the 3D verse happened and in the HD years those like CJ and Tommy are all retired having had success.
Dan House said something about the 3D games being just past stories of the HD universe. So the main characters wouldn't came back but they are part of the same universe.

I'm surprised you didn't bring up how Claude's clothes can be accessed at Playboy X's safehouse in GTA IV. I feel that would've been an interesting point to bring up in the video.

I really love these videos. I enjoyed how everything connected. I remember reading articles when I was like 9 or 10 about Toni Cipriani being in GTA III (which I had never played far enough to meet him in game and I owned LCS on PSP and of course hes the main protagonist) and Vic Vance I knew had ties to Lance Vance from VC which I owned when I was 6 years old (my dad was so badass when I was a kid) but it wasnt till later I found out he was in the opening scene to vice city which is cool ! Sad there was never a San Andreas story about Brian and CJ's mom I feel that was worthy of a game

you forgot to mention that in gta v, while cruising around you have the chance to pickup a character named Packy and he is then available to use in any heists after that point. In gta iv one of nikos running mates was a man named packy as well. even in gta v, packy and lester both make references to packy's past in Liberty City.

They can say the "universes" aren't connected all they want but Lazlow, Frenando, and the various companies do cross over. I can accept that the maps look different because of technology and look the other way on that but there Lazlow and Fernando's careers are still holding the canon as if they are all connected.

Another thing I have implied from "hes gone quiet" is that after Roman's death Niko may have became depressed and gone into hiding. He may have tried to run away from his issues and that's why its stated that he went quiet. Maybe Niko was ment to come to los Santos in gta5 and explain Roman's death to the other protagonists but due to the issues with the voice actor that idea was scrapped.
Wouldn't that narrative depend on whether you saved kate or roman In GTA IV?
my guess is your GTA online character is supposed to be Niko but you have the freedom to make the character whoever you want I made mine look just like Niko and he doesn't talk...

Packie McReary from gta 4 shows up in a side mission in gta 5 and you can use him in a couple of heist going forward in the story mode. He actually mentions some jobs he did with Niko to the gta 5 characters

If i remember correctly, Huang Lee is in GTA 4, despite only arriving in Liberty City after the events of that game. In the police database, Huang is named, along with his Uncle, Wu 'Kenny' Lee. It seems that when GTA 4 was in development they already knew of the characters from both Episodes and Chinatown Wars.
Huang in CW himself mentions having been to Liberty City in the past in the opening cinematic (i think he was talking about getting STDs from a tourist) which makes sense considering his entries in the LCPD database date back to the early 2000s.

You forgot to mention that Packie McReary can be a heist member for Michael and the crew. During one of the heists, he’ll mention the bank heist that he pulled and Niko pulled off in GTA 4.

Well obviously that was what R* implied there, let me remind you of that scene in Jackie Brown where Robert De Niro gets annoyed by a blabbering girl and after a while he wants her to shut up and just turns and shoots her. The developers probably took that scene from there since they watch plenty of movies.

I wonder if the HD protagonists are alternate versions of the 3D protagonists, if so I can definitely see the similarities.

For further confirmation about if vic vance really took place in the original vice city, if you go back to that intro scene you can see lance vance in the pilot seat taking off as the ambush with vic and tommy go down.
In GTA 5 there are OG Loc & Mad Dogg (GTA San Andreas) records laying around in Franklin's room...

For the second one, you can access the Criminal Databases in GTA 2, and some of the criminal's records date all the way to 2013, implying that Claude Speed is in the future.
Theory: Tommy kills Vic. Lance makes a point to meet Tommy (Lance playing dumb as if he doesn’t know of Tommy) and string him along to kill him later as vengeance, hence the “set up” near the end, ultimately killing both brothers.
Might be a stretch, but since this is the drug underworld, all is possible.

Since Tommy was in the middle he’s seen as the orchestrator, really a middle man since he has a boss, Lance see’s all of this from the helicopter and really doesn’t see the big picture he just think that this is another stunt/double cross, which is expected in this business. So even tho tommy may have not killed him, Lance still see’s him as responsible and really the closest person he could get to on that side of the organization. Like I said it’s a stretch but it makes a ton of sense if you think about it. Seems like a loose storyline i don’t think it is.. but I like to pay attention to detail 🤷🏽♂️

The one thing I sort of wish, and I've said this elsewhere.... I wish that Rockstar would create a GTA type game, or even make future iterations of the gate, feature one or three characters like they did in GTA 5, but, for example, have a sequential time line, so for example, GTA 6 would follow GTA 5 and anything you did, or accomplished in GTA 5 would carry over to 6. They could have GTA 6 be in a different location, but basically make it an add-on pack that requires you to complete, say, at least 70% of the mainstream GTA 5 missions to "unlock" GTA 6.

I really wish the cameos were taken more seriously by Rockstar that they actually introduce these 3D Universe protagonists to these HD Universe protagonists, just so that we could see how detailed they would have been in the HD Universe.....it would have been really cool
